How to Unlock Ominous Star
Complete Echoing Marche
Ominous Star automatically unlocks after you defeat the Impermanence Heron - Death Incarnate boss using Jiyan during Echoing Marche.
Ominous Star Walkthrough
Go to Qichi Village
Follow the yellow marker and approach the Tacet Field. Defeat the waves of enemies in less than 5 minutes to complete the objective.
Investigate Marked Locations
Check all the points of interest marked by Yangyang after purging the Tacet Field.
Investigate the Clues Pointed Out by Scar
Follow the yellow marker and interact with the glowing beacon beside the floating TD.
Optional: Attack Scar to Skip Gathering Clues
You can talk to Scar after the initial dialogue to have the option to attack him.
Choosing "I've had enough of your nonsense. Fight me properly!" takes you immediately to the Chaotic Juncture: Spark dungeon and skips the clue gathering objective.
What Happens If You Attack Scar?
Keep Following the TD to Find More Clues
Follow the TD and interact with the clue on the floor. Do this two more times to get the clues needed to tell Scar your theories.
Talk to Scar
After gathering the three clues, talk to Scar in the middle of the village. Scar will then ask you questions related to the clues you have gathered.
Do note that the choices you choose do not matter as the story will still move forward and lead you to the Chaotic Juncture: Spark dungeon at the end of the interaction.
Who was the real culprit behind the diminishing number of lambs?
The correct answer for Scar's first question is: "The Shepherd"
What price did the lambs pay for their wishes?
The correct answer for Scar's second question is: "Their Lives"
What happened to the black lamb?
The correct answer for Scar's last question is: "It was murdered by its flock and the shepherd"
Defeat Scar
Use the Grapple function to navigate around the Chaotic Juncture and reach the boss arena. Defeat Scar to proceed to the next objectives.
