Echo Loadouts are a function added to Wuthering Waves in Version 2.1, that allows players to save their Resonators' equipped Echoes as a preset. See how to make an Echo Loadout, and tips about how to Echo presets in this guide!

To make an Echo Loadout, head to the Resonator Menu and select the Echoes Tab. Then, push the Loadout Button in the lower-right corner of the interface.

You will be taken to the Echo Loadout screen afterwards. On the left side of the screen, you can see your current Echo set, alongside its stats on the far right. Click on Save as Presset to record the loadout to an empty slot.

Once you've saved an Echo Loadout as a preset, you can select the preset and click on Apply to automatically equip the related Echoes in the preset.

There are a total of 20 Loadout Slots currently available, and these slots are shared across all characters. You can make a Preset from one Resonator's Echoes, and apply it to another if you so wish.
You can also check which Resonator is currently using the Echoes of a loadout by looking at the portrait near the bottom-left of the Echo icons.

You can rearrange your saved Loadouts by using this arrow button that will move the selected preset to the front.

The third button in bottom-right will bring up a stats comparison between the currently equipped Echoes and the preset's Echoes. This can be used for several things, such as checking to see if a new piece or Sonata set is an upgrade over your current loadout.

Echo Loadouts are unlocked by default when opening the game after the Version 2.1 update! There is no prerequisite quest or requirement other than getting the patch.

Is there no way to edit/save over an already created preset if you make changes to the character's echoes? The only way I've seen is to create a brand new one and then delete the old one, but that's a pain in the ass.
