Waveplates are energy-like currencies that can be used to obtain farmable rewards in Wuthering Waves. See the recharge rate of Waveplates, how to restore them, and content where you can use them!

Your account will regenerate 1 Waveplate every 6 minutes, which is equivalent to 10 Waveplates every hour. This rate means it would take a maximum of 24 hours to reach the 240 Waveplate limit!

When players reach the 240 Waveplate Limit, the game will start gaining Waveplate Crystals instead. These are extra waveplates that charges at a much slower pace: 1 Crystal per 12 minutes. You can only collect a maximum of 480 Waveplate Crystals this way.
Take note that it is still not recommended to go over the 240 waveplate limit as you are essentially charging waveplates at a much slower pace, but it is good to have this system in case certain situations disallow you from logging into the game.

There are other ways to replenish Waveplates than waiting and one of them is consuming Crystal Solvents.
Using a Crystal Solvent, either from your Backpack or by clicking on the plus (+) sign beside the Waveplate count, instantly restores 60 Waveplates.
Crystal Solvents can be obtained through various sources such as redeeming gift codes, completing Pioneer Podcast missions, and more!

You can also restore Waveplates using Astrites up to 6 times per day, with each yielding 60 Waveplates. However, we do not recommend recharging Waveplates this way as Astrites is best used on Convene Banners.

Another way to recharge waveplates is to use Waveplate Crystals that charges after reaching the 240 Waveplate limit. The exchange rate is 1:1, where 1 Waveplate Crystal is equivalent to 1 Waveplate.

Waveplates are a consumable currency used to claim rewards from specific activities; mainly those that yield Resonator and Echo leveling materials, along with other valuable resources.
You can hold up to 240 Waveplates at a time, and they regenerate gradually over time, allowing you to resume farming once replenished.
