Some Tacet Discords are harder to take down thanks to a mechanic called Vibration Strength, and breaking will cause them to Immobilize. Checkout how to deal with stronger TDs by breaking their Vibration Strength!
How to Reduce Vibration Strength
Parry Their Attacks
Parrying Attacks is the quickest way to shred a Tacet Discord's Vibration Strength. A few well-timed parries can completely shred the bar quicker than expected.
How to Parry and Counterattack
Utilize Intro and Outro Skills
Intro Skills are great ways to further chip away at the opponent's Vibration Strength. There are also a few Special Outro Effects that also deal damage, and they too will deal massive damage to the Vibration Strength bar.
How to Use Intro and Outro Skills
Use Resonance Liberation
A Resonator's ultimate ability, their Resonance Liberation will take a chunk out of their Vibration Strength and their main HP bar at the same time if it happens to be an attack. Use these at your discretion.
Dodge Counters
Attacking enemies right after dodging is called a Dodge Counter, it deals massive damage to a Tacet Discord's Vibration Strength or HP bar. Even better is that this can be done repeatedly during their combo, which can be taken advantage of for no-damage runs.
Tips to Reduce Vibration Strength
Sword-Using Resonators Are Better for Parrying
Among all the types of Resonators, sword-users seem to be the best when it comes to parrying because of their short animation when attacking, and distance with its target enemy.
Some Resonators Have Special Parries
Some specific resonators like Taoqi and Jianxin have parries built into their Resonance Skills, allowing them to counterattack with a well-timed tap of E.
If You Can't Parry, Dodge
Not quite sure you have the timing pat down for a parry, or perhaps their attack does not seem like it can be parried? Dodges also work well as a safer option, and it opens up player to use Dodge Counters immediately afterwards.
Finisher Attacks
For some story bosses, players can be prompted to do a Finisher Attack, which greatly reduces their HP bar and can only be done by the Rover. Be on the lookout for the button prompt that will allow you to do the Finisher Attack.
Advantages of Reducing Vibration Strength
Breaking It Immobilizes TD
Once a Vibration Strength bar is broken, the TD becomes immobilized and players get a small window of opportunity to bombard the opponent with attacks completely uninterrupted.
The bar that shows the shield now turns yellow, and depicts the time left before the opponent can move again.
More Damage Dealt to Enemy
When Vibration Strength gets fully broken, damage increases significantly as they remain immobilized as there is nothing to continuously block out damage.
Percent HP Damage More Effective
All of the tips of dealing mentioned above (Parries, Dodge Counters, Intro Skills, Resonance Liberations) deal percent HP damage to the opponent when it connects, and it scales off of their HP as well.
This damage applies to their Vibration Strength bar first if it is still active, so successfully triggering these will make the fight so much easier.

Vibration Strength can be considered a boss's shield, and damage against their HP is reduced so long as it is active.
