What Are Special Enemies?

Significantly Stronger Enemies with Fixed Levels

Wuthering Waves - Significantly Stronger Enemies with Fixed Levels

Special enemies are enemies with a glowing red mist that are exceptionally strong and scattered around Solaris-3. To defeat them, you'll need to be comfortable with the Combat System and make good use of Parries and Counterattacks.

Unlike other regular enemies, they do not scale with SOL3 Phase Level. If you find yourself unable to beat a special enemy, you can always come back later once you have raised the level of your Resonators.

Character Leveling Guide

Drop 4 or 5-Star Echoes

Special enemies also give a 4 or 5-Star Echo when defeated, making them worthwhile to seek out and farm if you can reliably defeat them. They also reward trophies for the first time you beat them.

Echo Tier List

Respawn After a Few Days

Special enemies don't respawn daily, but take a few days to reappear. There doesn't seem to be a fixed number of days and may be random. If you wish to farm more special enemies, consider joining other players in Multiplayer Mode.
