The Casket Sonar is an Utility tool in Wuthering Waves that lets players locate Sonance Caskets around their immediate location. See how to use the Casket Sonar, and how to unlock this utility tool here!
List of Contents
The Casket Sonar is unlocked as soon as you reach Pioneer Level 3 as a member of the Pioneer Association.
Alongside the Casket Sonar itself is a special Use Permit that allows the Rover to use the Casket Sonar in certain regions, which includes Jinzhou City.
The Pioneer Association can be found near the west gate of Jinzhou City. There is a Resonance Beacon nearby for east fast traveling.
Before you go use the Casket Sonar, it needs a certain item called a Sonar Circuit, which act as consummable items needed for the Utility tool.
Each one requires 10 Scarletthorn and 10 Floramber for every 1 Sonar Circuit to be crafted.
The Casket Sonar must be equipped onto a slot on the Utility Wheel first. Afterwards, players must select it as the active Utility.

Players can keep using Sonar Circuits to activate the Casket Sonar, so long as they have stocks of Sonar Circuits. The utility tool cannot be used if the user has run out of Sonar Circuits.
After activating the Casket Sonar, it will mark a Sonance Casket somewhere in the map, and it will not be removed until that specific Sonance Casket is claimed.
However, no clues will be given if they were hidden behind a puzzle, or locked behind a certain mechanic.
The Casket Sonar is a special utility tool used to hunt down and locate Sonance Caskets located all around Solaris-3.
The Casket Sonar and other utility gear can be accessed in the Utilities menu, which can be spotted by its icon that looks like a gourd.
