Complete the What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing
The Last Knight quest is only available after completing Chapter 2's Act 3 quest, What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing!

Talk to Cosimo in Egla Town
To begin the quest, go to Egla Town in Whisperwind Haven and speak with Cosimo.

The Last Knight Walkthrough
Speak with Cosimo and Carlow
Once in Egla Town, find Cosimo and Carlow and speak with them. They can be found north of the fountain, near the fields.
Participate in the Night Reveries
After conversing with Cosimo, change your time to night and head to the town center, where the fountain is located. After a short cutscene, you have to defeat the Mad Knight.
Find Carlow Beneath the Large Tree
Climb the highest tower in town then use the Wingray to get the to Carlow. Once arrive approach him for another scene, then touch the purple flower to enter a domain.
Open the Supply Chests
Inside the domain, you will find three supply chests; open them all. After opening the three chests, more chests will appear; only one of these chests is real, while the others are mimics.
Open the real chest shown in the image above, then defeat all of the Chest Mimics.
Reach the Second Location
After speaking with Carlow, proceed to the next location marked on your map. Use the Cuddle Wuddle's ability to jump up to the platform.
Then speak with Carlow again on top of the platform.
Reach the Third Location
Once done talking with Carlow, grapple onto the Wingray to reach the third location, then approach Mr. Millkeeper for another scene.
Head to the Source of Strange Scent
Go up the hill, eliminating the opponents along the way. On top of the hill, you must beat Chop Chop; simply damage it until it reaches half of its health. Then, speak with Carlow and Mr. Millkeeper again.
Check on Carlow
Adjust the time to day, then return to Egla Town and find Carlow. Approach him and wait for the scene to end to complete the quest.

The Last Knight is a Side Quest required to complete an objective in the Tales of the Isles Event, specifically under the Isle Wanderings group of tasks. Finishing this will grant you further rewards under the event!

Completing The Last Knight sidequest unlocks the The Last Knight trophy, which grants you 5 Astrites.
