The Forbidden Waters stages are relatively simple. Any well-built character and team can clear them even if they don't work with the Environment Report.
The First Stage of Forbidden Waters provides a small boost to Glacio and Spectro DMG. As such, both Phoebe and Carlotta carry teams are recommended to take advantage of these elemental buffs.
For more F2P teams, a Rover (Havoc) and Sanhua Dual DPS team can also take advantage of the Glacio DMG boost, and a Chixia Hypercarry team can also take the stage on as the difficulty is still low.

The Forbidden Waters stages are relatively simple. Any well-built character and team can clear them even if they don't work with the Environment Report.
The 2nd Forbidden Waters stage buffs Fusion and Electro DMG. A Xiangli Yao Hypercarry team is recommended as the premium option, to maximize the Electro DMG buff, while a Changli and Encore Duo benefits from the Fusion DMG buffs.
The Chixia Hypercarry team is a more accessible option that also looks to maximize the Fusion DMG buff, while Rover (Havoc) and Sanhua are strong enough to make do without using the Environment Report bonus.

The Forbidden Waters stages are relatively simple. Any well-built character and team can clear them even if they don't work with the Environment Report.
Forbidden Waters Stage 3 provides teams with a boost to Aero and Havoc DMG. The Camellya Roccia team can take advantage of the latter, while a Jiyan Hypercarry makes use of the former.
For F2P options, Aalto and Yangyang work as a dual-Aero-DPS team, with Yangyang batterying Aalto for his ults. Rover (Havoc) can also now make full use of the Environment Report buff.

The Forbidden Waters stages are relatively simple. Any well-built character and team can clear them even if they don't work with the Environment Report.
Stage 4 of Forbidden Waters enhances Coordinated Attack DMG, so teams that include Resonators who specialize in this are best suited here. For premium options, a Jinhsi Zhezhi or Xiangli Yao Yinlin team both have a sub-DPS who maximizes the buff.
Similarly, Mortefi supporting a F2P carry like Danjin will also appreciate the buff. And the Rover (Havoc) and Sanhua team remains a powerful option thanks to the former's power as a main carry.

The stage buff for Stage 5 is an all Attribute DMG increase that stacks off of Basic Attacks. For premium options, characters that use Basic Attacks a lot in their rotations, like Phoebe and Carlotta, are recommended.
Danjin is a F2P option who also uses her Basic Attacks a lot, charging the stage buff quickly. Similarly, Rover (Havoc) also relies on their basics in rotations, and can do well here too.

The Forbidden Waters stages are relatively simple. Any well-built character and team can clear them even if they don't work with the Environment Report.
The last Forbidden Waters stage directly buffs Heavy Attack DMG. Characters whose damage comes from using Heavy Attacks, like Phoebe or Jiyan can make great use of the buff to augment their damage.
For F2P options, Danjin's Heavy Attack is her biggest burst damage tool, and it gets buffed by the stage. Rover (Havoc) can also work, as their damage potential is high enough despite not really relying on Heavy Attacks.

Any Well Built Team Can Work
Forbidden Waters are the easiest Whimpering Wastes stages, and the Environment Report effects aren't at a high level yet. Players can attempt these stages with any well built team, and should be able to get an S regardless.
Save Limited Tokens for Later Stages
There will be Tokens that grant buffs when equipped for a stage; these tokens can either be unlimited use or only available for a finite amount of uses. The former are usually weaker, while the latter have stronger effects.
Save the limited-use Tokens for more difficult stages, and use the unlimited-use Tokens to clear out the lower levels first.
Take Note of Stage Info Buffs
Aside from the Environment Report, each half also has its own set of special conditions. For halves that fill Concerto Energy up to full at the start, consider bringing characters with powerful Intro or Outro Skills, like Mortefi or Sanhua's buffs on Outro.
On the flipside, stages that fill up Resonance Energy to max at the beginning may be better suited to characters with heavy-impact Resonance Liberations, such as Shorekeeper or Carlotta.
