Head to Ragunna and Find Ciaccona
Teleport to the nearest Resonance Beacon in Bank Street, Ragunna City, and walk northeast toward a crowd forming around Ciaccona. She'll be singing about the Rover's valiant efforts against the Dark Tide in Rinascita, and mentions an outlander who played an important role in this story, recounting his tale and walking you through his perspective.
Defeat TDs and Go to the Acolytes
Now playing as Qiuyuan, eliminate all TDs that spawn from the Dark Tide to defend Ragunna City. Afterwards, head to where the Acolytes are evacuating civilians to witness Carlotta, Ciaccona, and Leon the Acolyte take a stance against a horde of TDs.
Go to the Platform and Defeat TDs
Qiuyuan will be transported to Avinoleum next. Walk forward to the Platform in front of you and defeat all of the TDs that spawn, including a corrupted Capitaneus. Afterwards, activate the mechanism to take the platform upwards.
Investigate the Traces of Rover's Frequency
Interact with the Door of Unity to be transported to the Tower of Ascension. From there, fly straight into the Path of Bestowal and take the elevator up to trigger a cutscene where Cantarella is seen holding Cartethyia’s lifeless body. After conversing with the Fisalia Head, Qiuyuan departs in search of the “torch” in Fenrico’s possession.
Chase Down Any Traces of Fenrico
Underneath the Path of Bestowal, move forward and defeat all the Tacet Discords that block your path. Continue until you reach Fenrico at the heart of the facility, where Qiuyuan comes face-to-face with an entity presumed to be The Grand Architect, taking the form of Leon the Acolyte. After their confrontation, Fenrico is revived, starting a battle against him.
Put Fenrico the First to Rest
Land continuous attacks against Fenrico’s barrier while dodging the strikes from his skeleton hands, which occasionally emerge to grab or crush you. Once his health drops to about a quarter, a series of Quick Time Events will trigger. Hit them successfully to conclude the fight.
Upon victory, Qiuyuan connects with Fenrico’s frequency, learning of his ambitions for Rinascita and the hubris that led to his downfall in the clutches of Leviathan. The exchange prompts Qiuyuan to reflect on a similar tragedy from his past, before Fenrico entrusts him with the First Relic and finally finds peace.
Witness Qiuyuan's Past With Geshu Lin
As Qiuyuan confesses his past to Fenrico’s frequency, we witness a brief skirmish unfold between him and the Midnight Rangers General, Geshu Lin. Qiuyuan reveals that the Censorate has marked the General for execution, accusing him of colluding with the Tacet Discords.
However, in an act of mercy, Qiuyuan spares him after concluding that he poses no real threat. This decision would later weigh heavily on Qiuyuan, knowing the path Geshu Lin ultimately took.
Talk to Your Companions
After listening to Ciaccona's retelling, approach Phoebe and Zani near the Gondola Market and ask them about Qiuyuan’s whereabouts. They’ll direct you to the city square, where you can question Augusta. Following a brief exchange, she mentions meeting Qiuyuan at the docks, where you’ll be able to find him.
Find Qiuyuan at the Harbor
Walk to the Ragunna Harbor upon pinpointing Qiuyuan's location and approach him there. After looking back at your brief journey together and bidding your fairwells, Qiuyuan sails on a ship bound for Mengzhou and thus concludes the quest.
