Perfect Dodge grants players a damage immunity and a brief window to deal extra damage in Wuthering Waves. See how to perform a Perfect Dodge, as well as the benefits of doing a Perfect Dodge.
List of Contents
To perform a Perfect Dodge, press the dodge button right before an enemy's attack lands.
Upon a successful Perfect Dodge, you'll enter bullet time and open a brief window to deal more damage.
Enemies will sometimes wind up strong attacks that are indicated by yellow rings. You can parry these attacks to deal significant damage to their Vibration Strength, but you risk taking damage if you whiff.
If you're not in a position to parry these attacks, like when you're in the middle of an attack animation, try dodging instead.
How to Parry and Counterattack
If you're facing an enemy for the first time, take some time to play passively and observe its attack patterns.
Enemies have a limited amount of moves and you should be able to grasp its moveset in no time. This will help you avoid panic dodging and save stamina.
Dodging consumes stamina, and it's easy to run out, especially when you're facing enemies that are able to combo their attacks. Try to avoid spamming the dodge button and look for opportunities to dodge instead.
You can increase your max stamina by capturing Echoes and raising your Data Bank Level.
Attacks you make after doing a Perfect Dodge deal extra damage or do extra hits, depending on the character. This is meant to incentivize watching your enemy’s attacks carefully and avoiding dodge spam.
Performing a Perfect Dodge grants a brief moment of damage immunity, allowing you to land more attacks and deal extra damage without getting interrupted.
You can also use Perfect Dodge to phase through enemy projectiles and reposition to a safe area!
Executing a Perfect Dodge builds Concerto Energy. This will allow you to use each Resonator's unique Intro and Outro Skills more frequently to overwhelm your enemies.
