Data Chip 1: Exile Camp Near Settle Range

Fast travel to the Huanglong-Port City of Guixu Resonance Beacon in Settle Range and head south from it until you reach an Exile Camp. You will find a data chip on the chair in the middle of the camp.

Data Chip 2: North of the Forbidden Forest

Fast travel to Forgery Challenge: Misty Forest and climb upward until you spot a white open tent. You will find the data chip on top of the rusty containers off to the side.

Data Chip 3: North of the Giant Banyan

You may fast travel to the Huanglong-Dim Forest Resonance Beacon near a Researcher camp and find the data chip on a metal container inside of a shelter.

Torn Page 1: In Memento Square

The torn page in Memento Square is located above the highest scaffolding behind Jue's statue. You may fast travel to the Huanglong-Gorges of Spirits-Memento Square Resonance Beacon and walk back to the square from there.

Torn Page 2: Inside Clouded Cliffs

World Location

Fast travel to the Huanglong-Gorges of Spirits Resonance Nexus and climb up the stairs to the base. Enter the first building to the left of the stairs, and find the torn page on top of a crate.

Torn Page 3: Clouded Cliffs Watchtower

Map Location
World Location

This torn page is located on top of a watchtower right next to the building where you found the previous torn page. Climb it and find the next torn page on the floor.

Torn Page 4: East of Clouded Cliffs

Climb an unmarked watchtower tower east from clouded cliffs and find the torn page on the floor.

Data Chip 1: Southwest of Suspended Ruins

Fast travel to the Huanglong-Norfall Barrens-Suspended Ruins Resonance Beacon located in the middle of Suspended Ruins.

Immediately head into the destroyed building in front of the Resonance Beacon and find the data chip on the floor next to a sofa to the right of the entrance.

Data Chip 2: East of Suspended Ruins

Use the eastern Huanglong-Norfall Barrens-Suspended Ruins Resonance Beacon and head to the end of the path past the collapsed bridge. Find the data chip on top of one of the abandoned cars in the vicinity.

Data Chip 3: Northeast of Suspended Ruins

Fast travel to the northeastern Huanglong-Norfall Barrens-Suspended Ruins Resonance Beacon and travel down the path on the right until you reach a collapsed arch.

The data chip is located on top of some metal containers on the building behind the arch.

Torn Page 1: Inside an Abandoned Research Facility

Use the Huanglong-Port City of Guixu-Settle Range Resonance Beacon to fast travel directly in front of an unnamed abandoned research facility. Enter the building to the left and find the torn pages on the edge of a dirt plot directly in front of the entrance.

Torn Page 2: Inside Donglu Research Station

You can fast travel to the Huanglong-Port City of Guixu-Donglu Research Station Resonance Beacon and follow the road leading to the Research Station. Enter the front of the building, and find the torn page on top of a desk to the right of the entrance.

Torn Page 3: In Nostalgia Isle

Fast travel to the Huanglong-Port City of Guixu-Nostalgia Isle Resonance Beacon and head directly toward the ruins near it. You will find the torn page on a low table.

Tales of the Past and Present: Tiger's Maw Data Chip Locations

Data Chip 1: On the Side of the Chasm in Tiger's Maw Mine

Map Location

You can find this data chip by fast traveling to the Huanglong-Tiger's Mine Resonance Beacon and scaling the side of the chasm on the right until you reach a significantly flat area. The data chip is located near some rocks next to a big bush.

Data Chip 2: By a Log Overlooking Tiger's Maw Mine

World Location

Head over to the overlook located northeast of Tiger's Maw Mine. Drop down from there and onto a grassy plateau where you will find the data chip right next to a big log.

Data Chip 3: Southeast of Tiger's Maw Mine

World Location

Fast travel to the Huanglong-Wuming Bay Resonance Beacon in Tiger's Maw which will take you to the foot of a small mountain. Follow the dirt path upwards until you come across a broken pillar on the left and find the data chip on top of it.

Tales of the Past and Present: Whining Aix's Mire Data Chip Locations

Data Chip 1: South of Fallen Grave

Fast travel to the Huanglong-Whining Aix's Mire-Fallen Grave Resonance Beacon located west of Fallen Grave and head straight down the path until you reach a Fractsidus Camp. You can find the data chip on top of a crate next to the metal shelter.

Data Chip 2: South of Plateau Ruins

Head north from the Huanglong-Whining Aix's Mire-Fallen Grave Resonance Beacon located south of Plateau Ruins until you see another Fractsidus Camp to your right. You can find the data chip on top of a crate beside the metal shelter.

Data Chip 3: Near Whining Aix's Mire Tacet Field

You can fast travel to the Huanglong-Whining Aix's Mire Resonance Beacon near the region's Tacet Field and head over to the abandoned base near it. Find the data chip on top of a chest beside a container covered by a white cloth.

Every Tales of the Past and Present Side Quest will only unlock once you have collected all torn pages or data chips per specific region in Huanglong.

Quest Rewards Differ for All Regions

Each Side Quest under every region will yield you different rewards for each one completed, giving you items such as Medium Resonance Potions, Medium Energy Cores, Medium Sealed Tubes, and Shell Credits.
