Tune Break is a special attack performed by any Resonator on enemies, dealing flat damage and reducing their Vibration Strength. When performed, the Off-Tune Level
| Tune Break Boost | Increases Tune Break DMG and the DMG dealt to Interfered targets. |
|---|
Tune Break DMG primarily scales off Tune Break Boost, an extra stat introduced in Version 3.0. All non-3.0 Resonators have zero (0) as their base stat, whereas 3.x characters like Lynae have a higher base stat of ten (10) and can provide more boosts via her skills.

| When the target's Off-Tune Level is full, the Resonator may cast Tune Break on the target. |
Every Resonator has a Tune Break skill, added in Version 3.0, having animations unique to each weapon and dealing flat damage onto enemies. For non-3.0 Resonators, all Tune Break effects are the same and do not apply Shifting effects.
With the release of the 3.0 update, Lynae sets the bar for special Tune Break effects, as she can apply the Shifting Effects: Tune Rupture or Tune Strain depending on her Resonance Mode.

Shifting Effects are applied by special Resonators onto enemies while Off-Tune is building up. Two types of Shifting Effects are available, known as Tune Strain and Tune Rupture, affecting how characters interact with enemies after Tune Break.
Both Tune Strain and Tune Rupture causes the enemy to enter the Interfered State
▼ Tune Strain vs Tune Rupture Differences
Enemies enter the Interfered State if they're applied with Shifting and are hit with Tune Break afterwards. Take note that if an enemy is inflicted with Tune Strain - Interfered, applying Tune Rupture overwrites the effect.
Tune Strain is a Shifting Effect that lets the Resonator deal more DMG against enemies that have Tune Strain - Interfered inflicted on them.
While this effect varies per Resonator, having more characters that respond to Tune Strain on the team generally increases their damage dealt even more.
| Tune Strain Response | For each stack of Tune Strain - Interfered on the target, each point of Lynae's Tune Break Boost increases her total DMG against that target by 0.12%. When Lynae is in the team, the target's max stack limit of Tune Strain - Interfered is increased by 1. |
|---|
When Lynae responds to Tune Strain - Interfered, she deals additional DMG to enemies per Tune Break Boost. Furthermore, she increases the max stacks of Tune Strain - Interfered by 1.
Tune Rupture is a Shifting Effect that causes the Resonator to deal an additional attack when Tune Break is performed. This attack has a separate cooldown and is boosted by Tune Break Boost.
| Tune Rupture Response | When any Resonator in the team deals Tune Break DMG and inflicts the Tune Rupture - Interfered state, Lynae casts Tune Rupture Response - Spectral Analysis. Each target can be damaged by this skill up to once every 8s. |
|---|
When Lynae responds to Tune Rupture - Interfered, she casts an extra attack when Tune Break is casted. This works for herself and any Resonator, applying every 8s.

Off-Tune is an additional mechanic introduced in Version 3.0 that builds up against enemies, which can be observed by the left-side of the enemies' HP bars.
Once enemies' Off-Tune Levels become full, enemies enter the Mistuned State, indicated by a shattered pattern on top of their HP bars, and will allow you to cast Tune Break.
When fighting against enemies, there is a notable clicking sound that you can hear to indicate they entered the Mistuned state. Once you hear it, you can cast the Tune Break skill to immediately deal damage.

The Mistuned State is entered by enemies when their Off-Tune Levels reach the maximum amount. Once full, their HP becomes shattered, letting you cast Tune Break.
Note that enemies below Elite Level will automatically receive Tune Break DMG and will not require you to perform a special attack.
| Off-Tune Buildup Rate | Scales up the Off-Tune Level accumulated on targets through certain skills. |
|---|
In Version 3.0, a new stat is available for Resonators called the Off-Tune Buildup Rate. Get more of the stat to cause enemies to accumulate the Off-Tune Level faster.
If you're riding the Expedition Motorbike and enter combat, casting Ram Dynamics gives you additional Off-Tune Buildup Rate stats if you have the Expansion Modules equipped.
Expedition Motorcycle Expansion Modules
Attacking enemies naturally builds up enemies' Off-Tune Levels. Observe the gauges found to the left side of their HP bars and cast Tune Break when it's full and in the Mistuned state.
Enemy bosses have dangerous Red Glow attack that will temporarily put them in a Mistuned state for a very short time after executing it.
This lets you instantly cast a Tune Break Skill, reducing their Vibration Strength and dealing more damage in the process!

After casting Tune Break, their Off-Tune Levels will enter a short cooldown and will not let you build up the gauge. Observe these cooldowns on the left side of their HP bar and cast your powerful skills once Off-Tune is available!
