Echoes can be Tuned using Tuners to unlock Substats in Wuthering Waves. Learn how to tune Echoes and how to get Tuners.
List of Contents

Echoes can be Tuned to unlock Sub Attributes or Substats for every 5 levels that they gain. As the level cap is determined by their rarity, Echoes can have up to 5 Substats at Rarity 5. Note that you can only Tune 3-star Echoes or higher. You can level up your Echoes using Sealed Tubes by pressing Upgrade for your selected Echo.
Upon reaching a level that allows for Tuning, press "To be Tuned" on the upgrade screen to access the Echo Tuning menu.

You'll need to have Tuners that match the rarity of the Echo you're tuning. For 3-star Echoes, you'll need a Medium Tuner. 4-star Echoes will need an Advanced Tuner, and 5-stars need a Premium Tuner. You can choose to unlock several Substats at a time by adjusting the Tuning Attempts slider.

As of Version 1.1, players can now use lower-tier Tuners to synthesize into rarer Tuners! This is especially helpful once you've unlocked the higher rarities of Echoes.

Tuners are rewarded by doing Tacet Field Cleanups. You can get different Tuners depending on your SOL3 Phase Level. Note that you'll need to use Waveplates to claim them.

Tuners can also be found by exploring Huanglong. Be sure to open chests and complete any challenges you encounter for a chance to get more!
