Wuthering Waves - Explosive Charges and Vine Traps Puzzle Guide

Explosive Charges are picked up by the Levitator and used to remove Vine Trap Puzzles in Wuthering Waves. See how to use clear Vine Trap Puzzles with Explosive Charges, as well as the locations and how to unlock the Levitator.

How to Use Explosive Charges and Remove Vine Traps

Equip Levitator from the Utility Wheel

Bring up the Utility Wheel by holding Tab (Left D-Pad on controller), then hover over the Levitator and release the Tab key.

The Levitator icon on the bottom right, beside your Resonance Skill, will glow when there's an Explosive Charge nearby or other objects that the Levitator can lift. You can lift these objects by pressing the T key (LB+Y on controller).

How to Unlock Levitator

The Levitator ultility unlocks alongside the Grappling Hook as part of the First Resonance main quest.

You will use the Levitator later on during the Echoing Marche main quest to pick up the Explosive Charge near the vine traps to destroy it and reach the Detection Beacon.

Aim and Throw Explosive Charge at Vine Traps

Aim the Explosive Charge towards a Vine Trap by pressing the G key (LT on controller), then press Left Click (LT + X on controller) to throw.

Don't worry if you miss as the Explosive Charge will respawn and you can try again.

Found on the Overworld

Explosive Charges and Vine Trap Puzzles are scattered all over the map. These are worth seeking out and solving as they usually reward Supply Chests that contain Astrites and Development Materials.
