|---|---|---|---|
|
• Multiple instances of Negative Status application in her kit. • Excellent Sub-DPS buffing capabilities for Aero-centric teams. • Spectro Frazzle Applicator. She can be used in Spectro Frazzle teams and is not locked to Aero. |
|||
| Weaknesses | |||
| • Subpar role in Spectro teams. She performs significantly better in Aero Erosion teams. |
Ciaccona is the first 5-star Limited Resonator that utilizes the Aero Erosion mechanic to combat against enemies. She is, however, quite versatile as she applies Aero Erosion or Spectro Frazzle stacks to enemies.
With the release of Cartethyia, Ciaccona's role in the current meta has drastically improved. She is currently the best Aero sub-DPS unit in the game, and significantly raises Aero Erosion teams.
As for Spectro Frazzle teams, she provides consistent stack application through her Resonance Liberation, even while off-field. This is worth mentioning as she is currently the 2nd limited applicator for this Negative Status.
Her main kit, however, revolves around Aero DMG and Aero Erosion DMG. Considering her as a Sub-DPS to said teams, she falls short as she provides few buffs to maximize Spectro Frazzle DMG for dedicated DPS units. Zani's team for example, would still benefit more from Phoebe and Spectro Rover than Ciaccona.

Ciaccona as the premier Aero Erosion Sub-DPS unit will want to use the Gusts of Welkin as it synergizes well with her overall kit. Balance her Crit. ratio and get Aero DMG Bonus Echoes to deal good damage to enemies, on-field and off-field.
When Ciaccona is placed in Spectro Frazzle teams, her best set will be Moonlit Clouds for the ATK and damage buffs provided to the next Resonator.
Players will still want to build her with Aero DMG as her own damage is non-negligible, and her main damage will still scale off Aero DMG. Note that her application of Spectro Frazzle will not be affected here.
| Main Echo | Explanation |
|---|---|
|
|
・Best-in-slot option for Ciaccona. ・Only 4-cost Echo in the Gusts of Welkin set. ・Provides Aero DMG Bonus. ・Deals decent Aero DMG against enemies multiple times. |
|
|
・Decent option for Ciaccona if you opt to use Moonlit Clouds on her. ・Increases damage dealt by the next Resonator after switching out. |
|
|
・Good option for Ciaccona if you're running a 2-pc Gusts of Welkin and Sierra Gale on her. ・Provides Aero DMG Bonus and Heavy Attack DMG Bonus. ・Better option than Fleurdelys in this circumstance, but Gusts of Welkin set is significantly better. |
| Echo Set | Rating |
|---|---|
|
(5-pc) |
★★★ - Best Gusts of Welkin is Ciaccona's best-in-slot Echo set as it provides a party-wide Aero DMG increase for 20s, making it ideal for sub-DPS Ciaccona in Aero teams. With Fleurdelys as the main Echo, her own damage is also buffed which is great for her on-field and off-field damage. Recommended Main Echo: |
|
(5-pc) |
★★☆ - 2nd Best Moonlit Clouds is a secondary option for Ciaccona, as it provides decent ATK buffs to a dedicated DPS on-field when switching out. It also provides Ciaccona with Energy Regen, letting her Resonance Liberation have more uptime. Recommended Main Echo: |
|
(2-pc) (2-pc) |
★☆☆ - 3rd Best A 2-pc Gusts of Welkin and Sierra Gale will be a decent early option for Ciaccona. Its only shortcoming is it provides buffs solely to Ciaccona, reducing her Sub-DPS potential. Recommended Main Echo: |

|
| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
| | Support Replacement Rover (Aero) is an alternative option to Chisa and is a lot more accessible due to being a free unit with a dedicated 5-star weapon. They provide heals, deal some damage, and can increase the number of Erosion stacks by 6, similar to Chisa. |
| | Support Replacement Though Cartethyia doesn't benefit from Rejuvenating Glow due to it mainly buffing ATK, Shorekeeper can still provide additional Crit stats when inside her Stellarealm. In addition, the healing she provides makes Cartethyia a bit more comfortable to play. |
Ciaccona's best team is undoubtedly with Cartethyia in an Aero Erosion team. As a unit, Ciaccona provides multiple Aero DMG and Aero Erosion buffs that this team maximizes, with Cartethyia being the premier Aero Erosion DPS unit in the game.
As for the support role, Chisa is the best option to have due to her DEF shred against enemies and consistent team healing and shielding. She also increases the max Erosion stack limit by 3. That said, Aero Rover fulfills the same role and is a free unit with a dedicated free 5-star weapon.
| 1 | Start combat with Chisa and build up her Forte with her Resonance Skill and Basic Attacks. Once her Forte reaches around 60 points, cast her Liberation to deal good damage, enhance her Sawring attacks, and fill her Forte bar. |
|---|---|
| 2 | With her Forte full, cast her enhanced Resonance Skill to enter Chainsaw Mode. |
| 3 | Then, hold her attack button to perform her full Sawring attack string. Once done, she can use her Outro and switch to Ciaccona. Note: Her Outro increases the max Erosion stack limit to 6. |
| 4 | As Ciaccona enters with her Intro Skill, she will generate 1 Musical Essence and inflict 1 Erosion stack on enemies. This can be followed up with two Basic Attacks to generate one more Musical Essence and let her do a Solo Concert. Solo Concert: Provides 24% Aero DMG Bonus to all team members. |
| 5 | Cast her Resonance Skill and continue this with three Basic Attacks to complete her Musical Essence Stacks. Once her Forte Circuit is full, cast a Heavy Attack to group enemies and deal damage. |
| 6 | Next, cast her Resonance Liberation and switch to Cartethyia when her Intro Skill is available. Make sure Ciaccona applies Aero Erosion in her Liberation. |
| 7 | Ciaccona's Outro Skill will amplify Aero Erosion DMG by 100% for 30s. When Cartethyia is on-field, do her optimal rotations to summon her Sword Shadows and recall them immediately before transforming into Fleurdelys. |
| 8 | While Fleurdelys is active, do her optimal rotations to build up her Conviction stacks. As this happens, Ciaccona will be providing Aero Erosion stacks to enemies which Cartethyia benefits from. |
| 9 | Once her Conviction stacks reach 120, cast her second Resonance Liberation to deal high Aero DMG, amplified by Aero Erosion stacks on targets. |
| 10 | Lastly, use her Outro Skill to amplify other team members' Aero DMG and switch to Chisa. Repeat until all enemies are defeated. |

| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
| | Support Replacement Shorekeeper is a good replacement for Aero Rover as she provides excellent healing and buffing capabilities to the whole team. |
Ciaccona and Aero Rover synergize well, providing buffs to Jiyan and making up a decent team. Note that this is not a better team than Jiyan with Mortefi and Shorekeeper, but it is viable as an option.
Ciaccona inflicts ample Aero Erosion stacks on enemies and gives multiple Aero DMG buffs via her kit. Jiyan, a straightforward Aero DPS with excellent grouping and AoE attacks, can maximize this.
As for Rover (Aero), they act as both a secondary sub-DPS and support to the team, being able to deal damage quickly while providing heals to other Resonators.
| 1 | Start with Ciaccona on-field and have her generate Ensemble Sylphs while applying Erosion stacks on to enemies. When her Concerto is filled, switch to Aero Rover. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Have Aero Rover quickly build up their Windstrings and deal good damage with their internal rotations. Once their Outro is available, switch to Ciaccona once again to increase the Erosion stack limit. |
| 3 | With Ciaccona on-field again, apply more Erosion stacks with her skills. Make sure to perform a Solo Concert while doing her combos to boost Aero DMG for the team. |
| 4 | Once her Forte bar is filled, cast a Heavy Attack to group enemies together and deal good damage. Then, cast her Resonance Liberation to deal off-field damage before casting her Outro. |
| 5 | Have Jiyan cast Resonance Liberation immediately after entering the field. With his damage buffed by Ciaccona, deal big AoE damage against enemies. |
| 6 | Repeat until all enemies are defeated. |

For F2P players, Ciaccona will be a big boost to Aero teams as she synergizes extremely well with Rover (Aero), who is accessible to all players.
Aalto will receive significant buffs from Aero Rover and Ciaccona's Aero DMG Bonus buffs, increasing his overall potential as a DPS unit.
| 1 | Initiate combat with Ciaccona and build up Erosion stacks with her skills. Once her Concerto gauge is filled, use her Outro to Aero Rover. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Build up Aero Rover's Windstrings and deal damage with his enhanced skill and Liberation. Once their Outro is available, switch to Ciaccona again to increase max Erosion stacks that can be inflicted. |
| 3 | When Ciaccona enters combat for the second time, generate Musical Essence and apply more Erosion stacks via her skills. Make sure that she is able to perform a Solo Concert with her Ensemble Sylphs to provide a significant Aero DMG boost to the entire team. |
| 4 | Next, cast her Heavy Attack once she has 3 Musical Essence to group enemies and deal decent damage. Lastly, cast her Resonance Liberation to provide Aero Erosion stacks and damage to enemies. Switch to Aalto afterwards. |
| 5 | Having Aalto on-field, do his internal combos to deal damage against enemies. |
| 6 | Repeat this until combat is finished. |

| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
| | Main DPS Replacement Phoebe can replace Zani as the Main DPS. She deals high damage through Spectro Frazzle which Ciaccona can provide. |
| | Support Replacement Rover (Spectro) can replace Shorekeeper in the third slot to have more consistent Spectro Frazzle stack application with Ciaccona. |
| | Support Replacement Chisa is able to replace Shorekeeper, as she can increase the maximum Spectro Frazzle stack limit on top of reducing enemies' DEF stats, making Zani's attacks hit a lot harder. She also deals decent personal damage and provides healing and shielding on top of this. Unfortunately, Zani cannot proc Kumokiri's All-Type DMG buff due to her not applying Frazzle on her own. Heliacal Embers are not counted, so she loses out on a major buff to her damage. |
Zani can work with Ciaccona despite being a non-Spectro unit as she can consistently apply Frazzle stacks through her Resonance Liberation, providing Zani ways to generate her Heliacal Embers.
Provide team-wide buffs with Shorekeeper to enhance the team's damage. Ciaccona will benefit from this as she deals damage and debuffs even when off-field, which can then be maximized by Zani.
| 1 | Start with Shorekeeper and do her optimal internal rotations. Cast her Resonance Liberation to have Stellarealm up and switch to Ciaccona once her Concerto gauge is filled. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Once on-field, have Ciaccona do her optimal combos and build up her Resonance energy as quickly as possible. When available, group up enemies with her enhanced Heavy Attack and immediately cast her Resonance Liberation. |
| 3 | Upon casting her Resonance Liberation, have her apply Spectro Frazzle instead of Aero Erosion. Switch to Zani afterwards, and make sure that Ciaccona's last Tonic is Yellow and applying Spectro Frazzle. |
| 4 | Have Zani do her optimal combos to enter Inferno mode efficiently. When in her Inferno mode, Ciaccona will continuously apply Spectro Frazzle stacks while off-field and aiding Zani. Make use of this by attacking enemies with her Heavy Slashes. |
| 5 | Once her 2nd Resonance Liberation is up and her Blaze depleted, cast it to deal great damage against enemies. Switch to Shorekeeper afterwards and detonate Stellarealm. |
| 6 | Repeat until no enemies are left in the field. |

|
| ① | Enter the field with her Intro Skill to immediately inflict 1 Erosion stack and generate 1 stack of her Musical Essence. |
|---|---|
| ② | Cast Basic Attacks until Stage 4 to generate more Musical Essence and start a Solo Concert. A Solo Concert will give 24% Aero DMG Bonus to all team members. |
| ③ | Use Resonance Skill to cancel her attacks and generate an Ensemble Sylph. When an Ensemble Sylph is on-field, it can continue Ciaccona's attacks for her. |
| ④ | Once her Forte Circuit is full, cast a Heavy Attack to group enemies together and deal good damage. |
| ⑤ | Next, cast her Resonance Liberation to perform a song that deals great damage over time and inflict multiple Negative status stacks on enemies. You may choose if Ciaccona will apply Aero Erosion or Spectro Frazzle. |
| ⑥ | Lastly, switch out to a different Resonator. Ciaccona's Liberation will continue to be performed and will inflict the last Negative Status used before exiting. |

Ciaccona can perform Solo Concerts to provide a substantial 24% Aero DMG Bonus to all nearby Resonators in her team. Use this to buff other Aero characters.
Ciaccona has the ability to group enemies together with her Forte Circuit, Heavy Attack - Quadruple Downbeat.
| Skill Used | Musical Essence Segment |
|---|---|
| Basic Attack Stage 4 Intro Skill |
1 Stack |
Stack Musical Essence segments so Ciaccona can unlock Heavy Attack - Quadruple Downbeat. Players must earn 3 segments via her Basic Attack Stage 4 or Intro Skill to use it.
Ciaccona can apply Aero Erosion or Spectro Frazzle during her Resonance Liberation. This makes her quite versatile as she can fit in different team comps for Negative Statuses.
With Ciaccona's Outro Skill, she can amplify Aero Erosion DMG significantly for other Resonators. Make sure to have her Concerto filled out before switching out to maximize this buff.
| Combo |
|---|
| Intro Skill → BA3 (Immediately after Intro Skill) → BA4 → Res. Skill → BA2 → BA3 → BA4 → HA (Forte Circuit) → Res. Liberation → Repeat |
With Intro Skill and two instances of BA Stage 4, Ciaccona will get Musical Essence pretty quickly. This will help group up enemies and deal good damage while she is on-field.
This combo also allows her to quickly switch to another Resonator, providing off-field Aero Erosion stacks and maximizing her buffing and debuffing capabilities.
| Combo |
|---|
| BA1 → BA2 → BA3 → BA4 |
Ciaccona's most basic combo will allow her to generate an Ensemble Sylph and let her perform a Solo Concert.
After casting 4 Basic Attacks, she will provide a 24% Aero DMG Bonus for the entire team. Ensemble Sylphs can also continue her attacks and performance.
| Combo |
|---|
| Intro Skill → BA3 (Immediately after Intro Skill) → BA4 |
After Intro Skill, Ciaccona can immediately cast 2 Basic Attacks to perform a Solo Concert. Use this to quickly generate 2 Musical Essence stacks and provide Aero DMG Bonus to the team.
| Combo |
|---|
| (While Mid-air) → BA1 → BA2 → BA3 |
Ciaccona can perform even while up in the air. She can do 3 Basic Attacks while Mid-air to land gracefully on her feet and perform a Solo Concert.
| Combo |
|---|
| Res. Skill → BA2 → BA3 → BA4 |
After casting Resonance Skill, Ciaccona can follow this up with 3 Basic Attacks to perform a Basic Attack. This is useful in combining with other Attacks.
| Combo |
|---|
| Dodge → BA (Immediately after Dodging) → BA3 → BA4 |
Ciaccona can follow up a Dodge Counter with 2 Basic Attacks. This will immediately allow her to perform a Solo Concert.

| Skill | Priority | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Normal Attack | ★★☆☆☆ | Ciaccona will be casting Basic Attacks quite often to inflict Aero Erosion and to build up her Forte bar. While not her main kit, she will still benefit from upgrading this skill. Upgrade this after her other skills. |
| Resonance Skill | ★★★☆☆ | Her Resonance Skill deals damage and can be used for mobility against enemies. This skill doesn't provide much damage, however, and can be prioritized after her main skills. |
| Forte Circuit | ★★★★☆ | After her Resonance Liberation, Ciaccona's Forte Circuit takes priority. It provides good damage while she is on-field. Prioritize this second after her Liberation. |
| Resonance Liberation | ★★★★★ | Players will want to maximize Ciaccona's Resonance Liberation as it deals good off-field damage, while providing debuffs to enemies. Prioritize this first among all her skills. |
| Intro Skill | ★☆☆☆☆ | Her Intro Skill deals damage and inflicts a Stack of Aero Erosion. It doesn't deal much damage and should be upgraded last. Upgrade this only after her other skills. |

| Why We Recommend It | |
|---|---|
| S1 | ★★★☆☆ - Good Her S1 provides Ciaccona with a good ATK increase when casting her Basic Attacks, and also prevents her from being interrupted while casting her Resonance Skill. While this is a good sequence node to have, we recommend going for her S2 if you have the resources as it substantially increases her value for Aero teams. |
| S2 | ★★★★★ - Amazing A sequence node definitely worth getting as it provides a 40% Aero DMG Bonus increase for all Resonators in the team. It is a significant boost to her Sub-DPS capabilities, tailor-made for Aero teams. |
| S3 | ★★★☆☆ - Good Her S3 gives an additional charge for her Resonance Skill, giving another dash and damaging skill to her kit. Her BA stage 4 will also give 2 stacks of Musical Essence, allowing for faster rotations. That being said, it is not an upgrade worth getting on its own as it doesn't provide much increase to her overall value. |
| S4 | ★★★★☆ - Great Ciaccona's S4 increases her damage via her Resonance Liberation and charged Forte Circuit attack as she will now ignore 45% of an enemy's DEF when using these skills. It boosts both her on-field and off-field damage, making it worth getting as an upgrade. |
| S5 | ★★★★★ - Amazing This sequence node provides a huge DMG bonus to her Resonance Liberation DMG, enhancing her off-field damage greatly. The main benefit to her S5, however, is the damage reduction for on-field Resonators. This opens up opportunities for more damage-oriented teams, and relying less on dedicated support units. |
| S6 | ★★☆☆☆ - Okay This provides an additional primary damage source for Ciaccona, as she is able to cast Solo Concert quite often. As an S6, however, it doesn't provide significant value as compared to her previous sequence nodes. |
| S1 | Where Wind Sings Casting Resonance Skill Harmonic Allegro grants Ciaccona immunity to interruption for 3s. Casting Basic Attack increases Ciaccona's ATK by 35% for 10s. |
