Negative Status are effects that certain resonators apply to enemies in Wuthering Waves. Learn all the negative status effects, as well as how they affect both enemies and allies in this guide!
| Negative Status | Effects |
|---|---|
|
(v2.8) |
・ While Electro Flare lasts, it deals periodic Electro DMG to the target. The target loses half of the effect stacks with each instance of damage. ・ Electro Flare stacks up to 10 times by default. The higher the stacks, the more DMG dealt. At maximum stacks of Electro Flare, any new stack inflicted becomes stackable Electro Rage. ・ Electro Rage increases the DMG dealt by the next Electro Flare trigger. Electro Rage is removed once triggered. ・ Electro Rage stacks up to 10 times by default. The higher the stacks, the more DMG Electro Flare deals. Some Electro attacks will apply a stackable Electro Flare effect to the target. |
|
(v2.8) |
・ When Fusion Burst is stacked to its max, all stacks will be removed to trigger an explosion, dealing Fusion DMG around the target. ・ Fusion Burst effect stacks up to 10 times by default. The higher the stacks, the more DMG dealt. Some Fusion attacks will apply a stackable Fusion Burst effect to the target. |
|
(v2.8) |
・ When Glacio Chafe is inflicted, the target receives Glacio DMG. ・ Glacio Chafe stacks up to 10 times by default. The higher the stacks, the more DMG dealt. ・ Each stack of Glacio Chafe effect reduces the target's Movement Speed. ・ When Glacio Chafe reaches max stacks, the target will be frozen, and all stacks of Glacio Chafe will be removed. Some Glacio attacks will apply a stackable Glacio Chafe effect to the target. |
|
(v2.8) |
・While Havoc Bane lasts, the DEF of the inflicted target is reduced. ・Havoc Bane stacks up to 3 times by default, with each stack reducing the target's DEF by 2%. Some Havoc attacks will apply a stackable Havoc Bane effect to the target. |
|
|
・Spectro Frazzle deals Spectro DMG to the target at regular intervals during its duration, while reducing one stack of Spectro Frazzle effect. ・The DMG inflicted by the effect depends on the Resonator level, the enemy's DEF and RES, and the number of stacks. ・It is not influenced by the Resonator's ATK, Crit Rate, and other factors. Only certain Spectro attacks inflict a stackable Spectro Frazzle effect. |
|
|
・Aero Erosion inflicts Aero DMG on the target at regular intervals as long as it lasts, with more stacks resulting in greater damage. Only certain Aero attacks will inflict stackable Aero Erosion on enemies. |
| Negative Status | Effects |
|---|---|
| | ・While Electro Flare is active, it weakens the target's ATK, with more stacks further reducing their strength. Only certain Electro attacks will inflict stackable Electro Flare on enemies. |
| | ・Once Fusion Burst hits its max stacks, it ignites and removes the stacks, dealing Fusion DMG. Only certain Fusion attacks will inflict stackable Fusion Burst on enemies. |
| | ・As Glacio Chafe stacks increase, the target's speed gradually decreases. ・Upon reaching max stacks, the target is frozen, and the stacks of Glacio Chafe are removed. Only certain Glacio attacks will inflict stackable Glacio Chafe on enemies. |
| | ・Havoc Bane accumulates stacks automatically while it remains active. ・Once it reaches its maximum stacks, it deals Havoc DMG to the target, removes Havoc Bane, and applies Havoc Bane to nearby characters. Only certain Havoc attacks will inflict Havoc Bane on enemies. |
Following the inclusion of status effect application on enemies instead of on characters alone, four out of the six negative status effects have been updated for Version 2.8.
Note that this is not a universal element mechanic rework and only certain Resonators have moves that can explicitly inflict status effects on enemies.

Current Rover has Aero (Healer), Havoc (Main DPS) and Spectro (Sub DPS). My take is the 3 remaining elements would be Glacio for Healer, Fusion for Main DPS and Electro for Sub DPS.
