Head to the Nexus

Once inside the city, head towards the Resonance Nexus to trigger a cutscene. Players may follow Phoebe's pace to learn more lore and story details.

All Resonance Nexus Locations

Proceed to Averardo Bank and Withdraw Funds

After the cutscene, head straight, turn left, and ride the nearby gondola to Averardo Bank. Note that the gondola is automated, and players do not have to press any keys for it to move.

Once at the stop, head to and interact with the bank counter to receive the funds and meet Zani.

Go to Trattoria Margherita

Afterward, go to Trattoria Margherita and talk to Margherita. Then, head to the right and interact with the red seats nearby.

Track Down and Stop the Uncontrolled Echo

After the cinematic, follow the quest markers to find the uncontrolled echo. Once found, defeat it to trigger another cutscene.

Investigate What Happened

Once the echo is defeated, head to the Pioneer Association and speak with Fulmine for clues. Players may also investigate the scene and Montelli Quarter for more optional information.

Head to the Masked Reverie and the Cathedral of Mercury

After seeing Fulmine's memories, head up the stairs to the right and go to the Masked Reverie to speak with Nyarla. Afterward, head to the next quest marker to talk to the gondolier and ride a gondola to the Cathedral of Mercury. Once there, follow Gilberto into the Cathedral.

Speak With Alessio and Follow Gilberto's Trail

Once inside, speak with Priest Alessio up ahead. After the conversation, use the Sensor to reveal Gilberto's trail and follow it. Following it leads players outside the cathedral and to an elevator. Step inside to trigger a cutscene and unlock Act 2 of Chapter 2.
