The SOL3 Phase Level represents the danger level present across Solaris-3 in Wuthering Waves. Read on to learn more about the different Phase Levels, and the effects that come with raising the SOL3 Phase Level!

The only way to increase the SOL3 Phase Level is to increase your Rover's Union Level; the Phase Level increases for every 10 Union Levels.
Level it up when you can to keep making your Resonators and your account stronger.

Once you have achieved Union Level 20, 40 and 60, a special Quest will become available. Completing it will result in the SOL3 Phase Level increasing permanently.
Take note that this might also be the only way to keep increasing the Union Level as well.
SOL3 Phase Ascension: Phase I Quest Guide

Upon reaching Union Levels 20, 40 and 60, these special Quests must be completed for the SOL3 Phase Ascension. Otherwise, the Union Level will be capped out, and cannot be raised any further for the time being.
The harder the enemies are in the overworld, the better the chances to make them drop rarer materials like higher-tier items or materials, or even a rarer version of an Echo!

The harder version of bosses like Tacet Fields are all locked behind certain SOL3 Phase Levels and Union Levels, so players must be able to have both leveled if they want better materials and Echoes from them.

Players can lower their current SOL3 Phase Level by clicking on the “i” button just after your current level depicted in the Terminal Menu.

Afterwards, platyers will be given a notice about how SOL3 Phase Levels are increased as you progress through the game. If all is good, simply click “Lower SOL3 Phase” and the current level will be lowered by one stage.
Do take note that players can only adjust their current SOL3 Phase Level once every 12 hours. Once finalized, it will take half a day in real time before players can tinker with their SOL3 Phase Level again.

If you end up increasing your SOL3 Phase too much, even with skill it might be too difficult to defeat even the basic Tacet Discords found in the Overworld.
Consider this as your last option if the difficulty of the monsters in your current SOL3 Phase Level is too much.
