The Backflip Challenge, or the Liondancer's Practice, is an unmarked challenge in Wuthering Waves. Here are tips for completing the Backflip Challenge, and details on how to unlock it!

Do Number of Backflips Under Time Limit

The whole challenge is simple: do a certain number of backflips (dodge in mid-air) with in a certain time limit. There are two levels of rewards: one after completing 5 backflips, and one after completing 10 backflips.

You can keep doing backflips afterwards if you have enough time, but that is just for flexing purposes; there are no additional rewards for doing more than 10.

Do Not Hit The Ground At All Costs

As soon as your feet hit the ground and not on the designated area on the boxes, the challenge is over. You can immediately restart the challenge right after, so keep trying!

Glider Use is OK

Worried that the backflip will send you out of the zone? Just use your Glider immediately after the backflip so you can reposition back to the boxes!

Climb Back Up

If you end up too far and the Glider just got you to latch onto the side of the wall, you're still safe. You can still climb back on top of the boxes, so long as your feet do not touch the ground.

Three Difficulty Levels

There are three difficulty levels for the Backflip Challenge. The difference between the tree is that the challenge area gets smaller as it gets harder.

The time limit remains at 30 seconds across all difficulty levels.

Easy: 9x9	Medium: 4x4	Difficult: 1x1

Backflip Challenge Location

Found in Jinzhou City

The challenge can be found at the southern section of Jinzhou City, near the Theater and the Souvenir Shop. You will have to jump down from a lower level if you use the Resonance Beacon near it.

Xiuyi is Right Across Souvenir Shop

Xiyui, the NPC that triggers this challenge, is just across the street from where the Souvenir Shop is.

How to Unlock the Backflip Challenge

Complete Linyang's Companion Quest

To unlock this Unmarked Challenge quest, players must first finish Lingyang's Companion Quest, Wild Heart's Return.

Backflip Challenge Rewards

Reward Per Difficulty Level

For each difficulty level cleared, the player will be rewarded with two different types of Supply Chests.

Hardest Difficulty Unlocks All Rewards At Once

If you decide to skip in Easy and Medium, and manage to clear the Difficult Level of the Backflip Challenge as the very first attempt, the rewards of all three difficulty levels will be available all at once.
