How to Unlock Stygian Lacrimosa
Reach Union Level 25
Stygian Lacrimosa will automatically unlock in your quest list after reaching Union Level 25
Stygian Lacrimosa Walkthrough
- Head to Lollo Warehouse
- Find Researcher Jiuyue
- Head to tthe Abandoned Site of Court Savantae
- Head to the First Suppressor
- Head to the Second Suppressor
- Head to the Third Suppressor
- Head to the Center of the Energy Field
Head to Lollo Warehouse
Follow the quest marker to Lollo Warehouse and help the Midnight Rangers defeat the incoming Exiles near the entrance. Speak with them again inside the Warehouse and they will ask you to help Jiuyue with his Research.
Find Researcher Jiuyue
Search for the Backpack
After finding Researcher Jiuyue, he will ask you to find the backpack that he lost while chasing after a Phantom. Find it within the quest marker in between two mud mounds.
Use the Ultrasonic Pulse Chip within the backpack to clear the mud within the surrounding area. Doing this will grant you access to a Standard Supply chest.
Meet With the Resident
Head to the settlement near to the fog and meet up with Qisheng. Instead, you will be greeted by his son Qijie, who will ask you to wait for his father to return. During this time, ask around the settlement for information about the fog.
Head to the Abandoned Site of Court Savantae
Use the Ultrasonic Pulse Chip to Attack TDs
Clear out the mud from underneath the TDs by using the Ultrasonic Pulse Chip which will break their shields and allow you to attack them. Successfully doing this will grant you another Standard Supply chest.
Head to the First Suppressor
Clear out the mud surrounding the first suppressor and activate it. Once activated, mud will rain and TDs will spawn within the area. Make sure to clear them all in order to achieve 100% activation, and be rewarded an Advanced Supply chest for doing so.
Note that all TDs that spawn during all suppressor activations will have shields, making them impervious to any damage. Use your Ultrasonic Pulse Chip in order to break their shields to successfully defeat them.
Head to the Second Suppressor
Similar to the first suppressor, activate the suppressor and clear out all mud and TDs within its vicinity until it reaches 100%.Receive another Advanced Supply chest for completing this.
Use Swamp Vortexes to Your Advantage
Swamp Vortexes will be present on the field and will knock you back in addition to the foes it happens to pass through. Use this to your advantage by creating your own vortex with the Ultrasonic Pulse Chip and aiming it at the Swamp Vortex. The resulting clash will deal major area of effect damage to all enemies and knock them back.
Head to the Third Suppressor

Follow the Phantom into the cave until it leads you to a broken Mural, and solve it by using the Levitator function to insert the pieces into the correct slots. Doing this will grant you an Advanced Supply chest.
Activate the Third Suppressor
Clear out all mud and defeat TDs after you activate this suppressor. Like the previous two, the suppressor's activation bar will only move towards 100% once all obstacles are cleared within its vicinity. Collect another Advanced Supply chest for completing this.
Head to the Center of the Energy Field
After activating all suppressors, the fog will clear, revealing the Mourning Aix: Lamenting Shadow at the center of the field. After depleting its health to 0, it will take to the skies and attempt to escape.
Transform into Mourning Aix
During this sequence, an aerial battle between you and the Mourning Aix will commence. Keep track of and follow it, using your Basic Attack and Resonance Skill button to shoot it down.
A cutscene will play once the Mourning Aix is defeated, effectively completing the quest and rewarding you a Premium Supply chest for your efforts.

Removes the Fog in Whining Aix's Mire
Completing this quest will remove the fog within the center of Whining Aix's Mire, granting you further access to its terrain.
Unlocks the Remember Me Trophy
Additionally, completing Stygian Lacrimosa will also unlock the Remember Me Trophy which rewards you with 10 Astrites upon completion.
