How to Upgrade Fortes

Open the Character's Forte Screen and Select a Forte

To upgrade a Resonator's Forte, you must first open the Resonator menu, select a character, and open the Fortes screen from the left side of your screen.

Look for the icon with four connected nodes (between the Echoes and Resonance Chain icons) to find the Fortes Screen.

Upgrade a Forte Using the Required Materials

In the Fortes screen, choose a Forte node and consume the specified materials on the left side of the screen to upgrade the Forte.

The five main Fortes at the bottom of the screen can reach up to level 10, requiring each to be upgraded nine times before reaching their max level.

Forte Upgrades Require Different Types of Material

There are three types of Forte upgrade materials: Forgery Challenge materials, normal enemy drops, and Weekly Boss materials.

Forgery Challenges and Weekly Bosses require Waveplates to obtain materials from, so it will take a lot of time and effort to max all the Fortes of a character.

Certain Forte Levels Require Character Ascension

There are limits to how high you can upgrade a Forte based on your character's current Ascension rank. Increase your SOL3 Phase level and ascend your character to break this limit and upgrade their Fortes further.
