Wuthering Waves has gripping stories brought about in cutscenes, but some players might need to skip cutscenes to get to certain points of the game faster. Read on to learn more about skipping cutscenes in the game!
List of Contents
The Skip button is available on certain cutscenes. Look out for a special arrow icon on the top-left of the screen to see if the cutscene is skippable.
Dialogue with the various NPCs around Solaris-3 are also skippable to a degree. The Skip Button should show up in the same area at the top-left of the game screen.
There was a Skip Cutscene button available during the second Closed Beta Test of Wuthering Waves. This was confirmed by Wuthering Waves in a special Developer's Message article with regards to story revision.
The cutscenes in Wuthering Waves build up the world's lore, the backstories of the various Resonators you will meet, and the implications of the past that lead to current events.
The game even warns you that it will impede your understanding of the game's story should you skip the cutscene.
Exploring the back story of the various Resonators in Story Quests will reveal more about their past, and other information about themselves. It might be a good idea to watch the cutscene in full for a fully immersive experience.
If you are trying to speed through the story to get to the gameplay, or trying to get back to a certain point if you end up seeing the same cutscene, feel free to skip.

And its not even working for all dialogues... gosh cant they just implement a system and let me skip all dialogue and not nitpic and make some dialogues unecissary unskippable?* Just had to listen to Aalto yapping for 20 minutes instead of doing actual gameplay during a story mission.... why
