How to Play Windrider Project
Complete Windrider Project Quest
The Windrider Project is a special Quest meant to show off the Flight function in the older regions for the first time.
This gives players a taste of going around the older regions with the exploration mechanic first introduced in Version 2.0 and the introduction of Rinascita.
How to Complete Windrider Project Quest
Unlock Flight Mechanic First
First and foremost, players must first unlock the Flight mechanic by reaching a certain point of Chapter 2 Act II: Veils Off in Sun or Shadow.
Chapter 2 Act II: Veils Off in Sun or Shadow
Head to Jinzhou City
Once Flight is unlocked, head back to Jinzhou City and go to the quest's location found northeast of the city.
Complete the Trial
Talk to Lanyan near the event location about the upgrade to the Flight module. She will give you a chance to fly a lap around the city as part of her test. Complete the trial to finish the quest and get the rewards!

This event was announced during the 2.6 Livestream as one of the many events introduced for the patch! This version went live on August 28, 2025.
Permanent Event After Version 2.6
The Windrider Project Event is classified as a Permanent Event, and players will still get to play it long after the end of Version 2.6.
This event is crucial for unlocking the Flight mechanic in both Jinzhou and the Black Shores!

Flight in Jinzhou and Black Shores
The new and upgraded flight module can be accessed as soon as you log in for the first time in Version 2.6, even before you do this event and quest.
This new flight module allows flight in both Jinzhou and the Black Shores, alongside an added boosted jump that lets you fly straight from the ground!
