| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
(LIMITED) |
• The best Support character that you can pull by rerolling. • Applies several buffs like Crit Rate and Crit DMG boost, DMG amplification, and healing. • Works well with many top-tier DPS, such as Jinhsi. |
(LIMITED) |
• The best Glacio DPS character to pull for. • Can deal consistent burst damage with her attacks. • Pretty straightforward to use and great for beginners. |
(LIMITED) |
• A good Spectro DPS outside of Jinhsi. • Great, consistent damage even without a dedicated support cast. • The best Spectro Frazzle applicator with her Confession state. • Can work as a DPS or Sub-DPS depending on the team composition. |
(LIMITED) |
• Great Versatile DPS but Requires Heavy Investment • A hybrid DPS/Sub-DPS unit that can be played in different teams. • Can be ran as a sub DPS in Fusion teams and/or with Resonance Skill DPS units. • His damage scales off Basic Attack DMG and can be buffed by 4-star units like Sanhua and Baizhi. • Brant provides enough sustain to run multiple DPS units but needs Changli to fully maximize his potential damage-wise. |
(LIMITED) |
• One of the best Spectro DPS characters to pull for. • Can deal consistent damage with high multipliers for her attacks. • Needs Spectro Frazzle Sub-DPS to apply Frazzle, but Spectro Rover can fill that role. |
(LIMITED) |
• A great Aero Erosion enabler that allows application of Aero Erosion • Can also shred Aero RES of enemies and increase Aero DMG of the entire team. • Utlized by multiple teams, specifically those that thrives with Aero Erosion and Spectro Frazzle. |
(LIMITED) |
• The best Aero DPS to get. • Can deal insane amounts of damage with her skills. HP-scaling but also a lot of moves that scale off Basic Attack. • Can work with Sanhua or Aalto, but is a must pull if you're able to get Ciaccona. |
(LIMITED) |
• The definitive Fusion team enabler. • Provides team-wide Fusion DMG Bonus and Fusion RES Shred, perfect for mono-Fusion teams. • Really flexible unit with the amount of Fusion characters in the game. She is able to support multiple top-tier DPS units. |
(LIMITED) |
• The best Electro and Heavy Attack DPS to have. • Has a Time Stop ability that pauses all timers, including abilities and end-game timers. • Deals High Electro DMG, considered as Heavy Attack DMG. This DMG type is quite easy to get with Echoes, weapons, and other Resonator units. • One of her best sub-DPS units, Mortefi, is a 4-star unit. He provides excellent Heavy Attack DMG amplification that is accessible even at S0, making her quite F2P-friendly. • Can use alternative Echo sets that are available in the early game. • Augusta's main issue for newer players is the accessibility of her upgrade materials, which comes a bit later into the game. You will need to play through the Rinascita storyline, Main Quest Chapter 2, to get to her required materials. |
(LIMITED) |
• One of the strongest sub-DPS units in the game, able to fit into multiple teams with ease and greatly buffing Resonance Liberation DMG-based Resonators. • Makes exploration a lot easier with her roller skates and enhanced Motorbike upgrades. • Can avoid enemies with her passive, preventing enemy aggro from being triggered. • Deals a lot of damage as a character, allowing her to be flexible as both Sub-DPS and Main DPS. • Driver for the Tune Break mechanic, boosting damage for all Resonators' Tune Break skills. |
(LIMITED) |
• One of the strongest healer support units in the game, performing similarly to Shorekeeper, albeit with slightly less flexibility due to the Tune Break mechanic not being too fleshed out currently. • Likely to get better over time as more 3.x characters get released. • Provides a lot of general Tune Break-related buffs that a lot of Resonators can benefit from. However, Resonators who have Shifting Effects, Tune Rupture or Strain, will benefit the most. • Gives a lot of All DMG amplification and can increase enemies' DMG taken. • Gives strong sustain with her increased healing multipliers and additional DEF stats to the entire party. |
| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
• The best standard support character that you can pull by rerolling. • Boasts healing for your team. • Can also buff your other characters with her skills. |
(LIMITED) |
• A decent Aero DPS character that you can pull by rerolling. • Boasts good attack damage and high AoE grouping. Works especially well against hordes of enemies. |
(LIMITED) |
• A decent DPS character that you can pull by rerolling. • Can deal high Fusion DMG with her Forte Circuit that scales off Resonance Skill. • Can be ran as a Sub-DPS in Fusion teams as well, so value is quite high in team building. |
(LIMITED) |
• Good Glacio Sub-DPS character that buffs Resonance Skill DMG. • Deals coordinated attacks, able to stack certain Forte gauges like Jinhsi's Incandescence stacks efficiently. |
(LIMITED) |
• A good straightforward Havoc DPS to pull for. • Can provide self-buffs with her two modes and can clear both single-target bosses and multiple enemy wave content. |
(LIMITED) |
• A decent Sub-DPS character that you can pull by rerolling. • Provides Havoc DMG and Basic Attack DMG Amplification, so she can support a free starting 5-star like Havoc Rover. • Not high priority to get as you'd want to invest in a DPS in the early game first. You can use Sanhua, as free 4-star, as a replacement for Roccia. |
(LIMITED) |
• A great sub-DPS that enables Echo Skill teams with her multiple casts • A sub-DPS with support-like sustain capabilities via healing through Shiver stacks. • Provides off-field Havoc Coordinated Attacks that deal decent damage. • Buffs the next Resonator's Havoc DMG and Resonance Skill DMG, but is only really useful in Phrolova teams. • Is at an awkward position outside of Phrolova teams as most of other characters will have their definitive buffers. |
(LIMITED) |
• A great Havoc DMG damage dealer, but requires high investment to deal damage. • Not recommended to reroll for, unless you already have Cantarella - another Limited unit. • Has pretty restrictive team building, so we generally do not recommend to pull for her for beginners. |
(LIMITED) |
• A great Heavy ATK buffer and decent Aero DMG dealer. • Can be rerolled, if you are set on really getting Augusta on her rerun. Else, you will most likely run Iuno as a Main DPS. |
(LIMITED) |
• High single-target Fusion DPS with AoE capabilities. • Not necessarily a must-pull due to the number of competitive Fusion Resonators in the game. • Few weapon options to maximize her damage due to lack of Echo Skill DMG buff sources. |
(LIMITED) |
• Premium buffer for Echo Skill DMG-centric team comps • Provides multiple Echo Skill DMG amplification and bonuses, as well as extra CRIT DMG throughout his entire kit. • Fast internal rotations as a sub-DPS unit. This allows the Main DPS to have more time on-field. • Can become a strong Main DPS character the higher you go through his Resonance Chain. • Echo Skill DMG is still quite niche in the game, so his value as a Sub-DPS is a bit locked into specific teams. |
(LIMITED) |
• Universal Negative Status Sub-DPS/Support Unit. • Flexible character that can give heals and shields on top of dealing damage against enemies. • Applies Havoc Bane and can increase the max stack count of any Negative status by 3. She can reduce enemy DEF significantly. • Buffs Negative Status DMG and has a decent kit to deal some damage on her own with her Chainsaw Mode. • She is currently limited by the lack of Resonators that utilize Negative Statuses. |
(LIMITED) |
• One of the strongest DPS characters in the game. • Can be considered high investment, despite her flexibility as a character. Most of her teams consist of premium units. • Great at either Tune Rupture or Fusion Burst compositions. |
| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
• A decent DPS unit with flowing combos. • Quite hard to control, but great against bosses. • Can be your main damage dealer for your team. |
• A decent DPS unit that attacks from long range. • Can increase their damage output with her Resonance Skill. • Combos are really easy to execute. |
(LIMITED) |
• Previously a premier Electro sub-DPS unit, but has been outclassed over several patches. • Deals coordinated attacks when attacking Punishment Marks, and can boost Electro and Liberation DMG for the next character that takes the field. • Primarily buffs Calcharo and Xiangli Yao, but otherwise poorly supports other DPS characters. |
(LIMITED) |
• Used to be the top-tier Spectro DPS unit, but has significantly fallen off with the meta. • Has great burst damage, but takes a lot of time to build up. • Works quite poorly in content that features multiple enemy waves. |
| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
• An average Sub-DPS character that you can pull by rerolling. • A jack-of-all-trades character that can be a Main and Sub-DPS. Due to this, her damage is subpar compared to other characters that have a defined role in the meta. |
| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
• A below-average DPS character that you can pull by rerolling. • Lingyang is getting outclassed by the 5-star characters available in the game, especially the ones that have great AoE damage capabilities. |
| Playtime to Unlock Convene | Approximately 50 minutes |
|---|---|
| Gacha Rates | 5★ characters: 0.8% 4★ Characters and Weapons: 6% |
Based on our playthrough, it would take players around 50 minutes to unlock the ability to Convene. The probability of getting a 5-star is extremely low, so we suggest not rerolling.
You can still survive and finish the game even without the limited and gacha-only characters, so you do not have to force yourself to reroll.
All Current and Upcoming Convene Banners

It is recommended that you use the time to progress the game than rerolling for a character. The gameplay of Wuthering Waves will still allow you to deal damage even with non-limited and non-gacha characters, so getting them is not necessary.
As you can see, rerolling for characters is an extremely tedious undertaking and will definitely break your user experience. Only reroll if you have a lot of time on your hands and you really want that one specific character from the roster.
