There are currently six characters known to be affiliated with Lahai-Roi in Wuthering Waves. Aside from Chisa who is originally from Ashinohara, the remaining five seem to be connected to Lahai-Roi’s prestigious Startorch Academy and its overarching scientific authority, the Spacetrek Collective.
Players can use the new and free Expedition Motorbike to explore Lahai-Roi once it is released in Version 3.0. On top of its customizable feature, it also has a built-in radio (Heart Radio Channel), a resource collector (Owlwatch Scanner), an autopilot mode, and more!
For a better and more fun experience, Lahai-Roi also has jump ramps and underwater tunnels all around! The environment also reacts differently to your motorbike, making travel more immersive than ever!

It was teased in the 3.0 Livestream that the Expedition Motorbike can be obtained after enrolling into Startorch Academy and completing your registration through the Resonance Nexus.

Startorch Academy has a bullet train that connects it to the Research Institute, making travel between the two easy and accessible.

The Academy has also built Velo Conduits, which are teleportation devices within the campus. This means you can reach one of the facility's top floors from all the way down the bottom floors!

Use the power of the Mechascout, a robot in Lahai-Roi, to reach far distances within the region. You can be launched from one area to another even while you're using the Expedition Motorbike!

While exploring Lahai-Roi’s frozen tundra, players may come across mysterious creatures inhabiting the Bjartr Woods. Said to be companions of the Roya Tribe, these beings appear small, stout, and endearingly friendly, serving as a gentle presence amid the region’s harsh wilderness.

During the Version 3.0 Showcase, the Bjatr Woods was shown as a cozy forest filled with catchy tunes. Everything moves according to the beat of the forest's rhythm, including the platforms.
In addition, charming little creatures walked with the player as they explored the area! These could be the mysterious creatures that served as companions of the Roya Tribe.

Echoes with mechanical features, also known as Mech Echoes will also be found roaming the icy plains of Lahai-Roi. Their cold, metallic designs mirror the region’s frozen tundra and reflect the scientific, clinical reputation of Solaris’ hub for knowledge.

Lahai-Roi will be the next major region after Rinascita, as both Rover and the Fractsidus have set their sights on the location. After the finale of the Rinascita Chapter in 2.7, the Grand Architect mentioned that their next goal was to progress their schemes in the region.
Meanwhile, during the events of Honami City in 2.8, Rover gained deep motivation to head to the region, as a rift opened up in the Sonoro Sphere leading to Startorch Academy. The region was previously known to be inaccessible prior to this event, largely due to the Void Storm.

During the Search for It! Bits of Lahai-Roi! event, Namipon discovered that the Startorch Academy rift has been throwing castaway objects from Lahai-Roi into Honami Crossing.
After Namipon recovered the objects' frequency, valuable information from Lahai-Roi was obtained, and we got to learn more about the upcoming region!
Search for It! Bits of Lahai-Roi! Event Guide

The Spacetrek Collective is an allied multinational organization recognized as the pioneers and overseers of Lahai-Roi’s scientific advancements. They are responsible for the nation’s scholarly reputation and oversee its most prestigious institutions.
Beyond this, the alliance appears to focus on space travel research, a goal shared across all its institutions. Their close ties with Startorch Academy suggest that they recruit top graduates to staff their expeditions or join the Collective itself.
What is the Spacetrek Collective?

One of the key features of the Spacetrek Observatory is generating simulated weather in the region! You can now customize the weather as you travel through Lahai-Roi.

The Roya Tribe is regarded as the indigenous people of Lahai-Roi. From the limited information available, the tribe is responsible for monitoring the movements of all Exoswarm that emerged following the arrival of the Exostrider, using a calendar that they created. The Roya Tribe primarily reside in the Bjartr Woods, where a notable tribal landmark known as the Solisylum can be found.

Startorch Academy is situated in Lahai-Roi and is the primary research facility in the region. It is a multinational school that focuses on training Synchronists, who are potential pilots of the humanoid mech, the Exostrider. Note that this mech is also the Academy's focus in terms of their research.
Among its student body, Rover was well-known among their peers and was an established student older than Chisa in her student days. Twenty years ago, Chisa was part of the Tactical Development program and a first year Engineering student before being transported to the Chronorift Metropolis.

Despite being a research heavy region, Lahai-Roi still manages to spread youthful energy and creativity thanks to the students and staff of Startorch Academy.

The colossal remains of the Exostrider were discovered by the Pioneer Association when they first reached Lahai-Roi. Aside from supporting Lahai-Roi's ecosystem, most of the region's infrastructure is closely tied to it. For one, the Research Institute was originally built around the Exostrider's sword. Additionally, Lahai-Roi's 'sun' is actually the Exostrider's Reactor Drive.
Eventually due to all of this, Startorch Academy decided long ago that its main study would be the Exostrider.
One of Lahai-Roi's main objectives is to awaken the Exostrider to resist the Threnodian, who initially cursed the land with the Void Storm.

Lahai-Roi is home to multiple scientific facilities including the Research Institute and Startorch Academy which houses the nation's brightest students. These institutions are well-funded by the multinational alliance, Spacetrek Collective, which oversees the overall development of the region.
Its population is also quite low due to the severe climate, and the region suffers being isolated from the rest of Solaris due to the Void Storm.

In the recent Version 3.0 Cinematic Short, it was suggested that the Void Storm takes a form of a giant mechanical wyrm. Previously, Shorekeeper mentioned that this region was once forgotten and hinted at the Lament's drastic effects on the area, before researchers came in and developed the land underneath the ice fields.
This phenomenon can be associated similarly to the Dark Tide in Rinascita, Huanglong's Retroactive Rain, and Honami's Irideglow.

Lahai-Roi's civilization is underneath the Roya Frostlands. It is filled with nothing but ice fields which are dangerous to the population.
Additionally, one may find a huge but abandoned mech in these icy lands which may hold some clues to the origins of the region before the researchers found it.

With most Lahai-Roi's civilization residing beneath the Frostlands, a giant elevator was built in order to access it!

Shorekeeper mentions that Lahai-Roi is unlike Huanglong and Rinascita, as it has no Sentinel to guide its civilization. It is a society primarily built on science and the power of humanity.

There is one Resonator with a special Tacet Mark that is lurking in Lahai-Roi. Perhaps she may hold special information or an explanation regarding the region's circumstances.
Therefore the well was called Beer-Lahai-Roi. It is located between Kadesh and Bered. Genesis 16:14 |
Lahai-Roi shares the same name as Beer-Lahai-Roi, a well mentioned in the Bible's Old Testament, theorized to be found in Egypt.

Lahai-Roi's geographical location in Solaris is currently unknown, although the game hints at it being isolated from other regions in Solaris due to the Void Storm, which occurs in a cyclical pattern.
Despite this, a connection to the Honami Sonoro Sphere appeared in Startorch Academy, allowing contact between the two locations, and by extension the Black Shores.

In the latest region teaser, Lahai-Roi is shown to feature two major institutions overseen by the Spacetrek Collective: the Research Institute and Startorch Academy, the latter containing multiple scientific facilities that appear to train students for space exploration.
Additionally, a mysterious Slumbering Exostrider and a Reactor Drive, possibly the region’s power source, were revealed. Together, these landmarks portray a modern, technologically advanced nation with a strong focus on scholarly research.
