How to Unlock First Resonance
Complete Utterance of Marvels: II
First Resonance automatically unlocks after reaching Jinzhou during Utterance of Marvels: II.
First Resonance Walkthrough
Head to the Nexus Beacon
Follow the yellow marker until you reach the Nexus Beacon. Make sure to activate the resonance beacon inside the city to unlock the location as a fast travel point.
Once you reach the Nexus Beacon, activate it to uncover a portion of the map.
Go to City Hall With Elevator
Follow the yellow marker until you reach the elevator and interact with it to reach the upper floor of the City Hall. Talk to Yangyang at the opposite side of the elevator.
Head to the Courtyard
Follow the yellow marker towards the door to enter the City Hall's courtyard. Follow the receptionist and take a seat at the meeting hall.
Leave City Hall and Talk to Yangyang
Exit the City Hall and talk to Yangyang for a cutscene to play.
Arrive at a Suitable Place for Grapple
Reach the yellow marker overlooking the scenery to unlock the Grapple function under Utilities.
Talk to the Children (Optional)
You can talk to the children in the area to complete the optional objective and obtain a piece of Candy.
Arrive at Huaxu Academy
Press the Grapple button while looking at the floating icon to use it. Doing so propels you forward towards the next grapple point to reach the Huaxu Academy.
Enter the door to the Academy and talk to Mortefi.
Start Simulation Training
Defeat waves of enemies in Baizhi's simulation, and attempt to leave in order to trigger a cutscene.
Complete the Convene Tutorial
After talking to Baizhi, the game will introduce the Convene (Gacha) system. Use one Radiant Tide to get Baizhi as a fixed pull.
Open the Team menu and replace Chixia with Baizhi in the team formation.

Inquire About the Tokens to Mortefi
Follow the yellow marker and talk to Mortefi. Enter the studio on the right side and find the accessory box on the workbench by the right side of the entrance.
Go back to Mortefi and hand over the accessory box. You will receive a Sundial at the end of the cutscene.
Consult the Location of Documents
Go to the nearby computer and interact with it. Follow the yellow marker towards the database room and inspect the two computers to get the archives.
After inspecting the two computers, head to the center of the room and talk to Yangyang. Afterwards, leave the Academy to complete the main quest.

You can get Baizhi, a 4-Star Glacio Resonator, as part of the Convene tutorial sequence after completing the Simulation Training sequence.

Completing Chapter 1 Act 1: First Resonance main quest rewards you with the Thus Spoke the Magistrate: Wordless Message Trophy, allowing you to claim 10 Astrites.
