Wuthering Waves 2.7 will release on October 9, 2025 and will run for around 41 days until November 19, 2025. This update brings in the conclusion of the Rinascita story as well as the release of two Resonators, Galbrena and Qiuyuan.

Four 5-star limited characters is slated to have their rate-up banners in Version 2.7!
In Phase 1, players are able to pull the fiery gunslinger, Galbrena alongside the first rerun banner of Lupa! As for Phase 2, the wandering swordsman Qiuyuan will have his debut banner with the first rerun of Zani's limited banner!

New Weapons
Lux & Umbra (Pistols)
Lux & Umbra is a 5-star Pistol and is the signature weapon of the gunslinger, Galbrena. The weapon is available from a separate Absolute Pulsation banner running alongside Galbrena's limited banner from October 9 to October 30, 2025.
With Lupa getting her own rerun banner, Wildfire Mark will also get its rerun alongside Lux & Umbra.

Emerald Sentence (Sword)
Emerald Sentence is a 5-star Sword considered to be Qiuyuan's signature weapon. This weapon is available from a separate Absolute Pulsation banner running alongside Qiuyuan's limited banner from October 30 to November 19, 2025.
Zani will also see her signature weapon, the Blazing Justice, in a separate Absolute Pusation banner in the second phase.

Chapter 2 Act 10 - The Bygone Shall Always Return
The Bygone Shall Always Return is the first of two Main Quests released in Version 2.7. This continues the main story unfolding in Rinascita, showing both new and returning characters as the fight with the Dark Tide is still undergoing.

Dawn Breaks on Dark Tides is the second Main Quest in Version 2.7. This is the official conclusion of the Rinascita chapter that started in Version 2.0 last January 2, 2025.

A Segue Afterstory will be available in Version 2.7, following the story of Qiuyuan. This will likely cover their backstory and experience from Huanglong and their journey in a strange land.

Lioness of Glory will finally have its own Tactical Hologram version from Version 2.7! Prove your worth once more and defeat a hologram versions of Arsinosa in increasing difficulties!

Flamewing's Shadow is a new Echo set that provides Fusion DMG and Crit Rate increase to characters that deal Heavy Attack DMG or Echo Skill DMG. This set is Galbrena's signature echo set considering the Fusion DMG nature of the Sonata effect.

This is a 7-day login event that rewards you with Astrites and premium materials by simply entering the game during the event duration. |

This is an event that requires you to take snap shots of your characters and interactions in the game. You will gain Astrites and other premium materials by following the photo challenges. |
| Septimont Weather Forecast |
A platforming event that requires you to follow an obstacle course and reach the end within the time limit. Use your grappling skills to get Astrites and other rewards! |
| Lollo Campaign: Ice Savior |
This is a rerun event of the Lollo Campaign that gives you tickets to spin the roulette by accomplishing daily tasks. Get rewards such as Astrites and Lustrous Tides by spinning the wheel during the event! |

Resonator Ascension Planner
In Version 2.7, a Resonator Ascension Plan lets you better see the requirements for ascending your characters. The game can also create personalized plans for material collection for your Resonators.
Added Journey Log Function
A new feature, Journey Log, will enable you to see all Main Quests, divided based on the chapters and acts in the game.

Data Modify Shortcut in Echo Upgrade Menu
A new data modify shortcut is added in Version 2.7 that allows you to modify echoes from the upgrade screen for a quicker and better experience.
Events UI Improvements
New divisions for Events in Wuthering Waves are implemented in Version 2.7. Version-exclusive events is set under the Featured Events, Recurring Events for returning ones, and Permanent Events for events that can be played on any version.
New Gallery Category for Enemies
A new Enemies Gallery category is available starting Version 2.7. This will let you review all the enemies you have encountered in Solaris-3 so far.
Global Filters for All Platforms
Global Filters is now accessible to all platforms starting Version 2.7. Then, a new Eye Comfort option lets you better customize color temperatures, brightness, and other settings for a better playing experience.
Improved Environmental Interactions
The currently existing environmental interactions from Resonator actions are improved in Version 2.7. Resonator skills can now affect the environment like leaves and grass.
Overworld Button for Improved Navigation
A new overworld button that lets you return to the Overworld is implemented in Version 2.7. Note that this option is not universally available and will only be available on certain menus like in Events.
New Terminal Swap Feature
A terminal swap feature that lets you change the skin of your Terminal is implemented in Version 2.7.
Weapon Display Optimization
Weapons' 3D view is improved with extra details and elements. For example, weapons with special effects will retain those effects in menus and swords will now include the scabbard.
