Use Ultrasonic Pulse Chip Utility

Wuthering Waves - Using Ultrasonic Chip to Clear Mud

While having the Ultrasonic Pulse Chip equipped in your Utility, press its designated hotkey to use it to clear any patches of mud in front of your character with a wind vortex.

Can Be Used To Reveal Buried Chests

Buried Supply Chest	Map Location

Some patches of mud have something buried underneth them, which might include Supply Chests! Be on the look out around the area for patches of mud that might hide something underneath it!

Stygian Lacrimosa Quest

Wuthering Waves - How to Unlock Stygian Lacrimosa

The Ultrasonic Pulse Chip can only be obtained during the Stygian Lacrimosa Side Quest. It is currently the only known way to obtain this utility.

Wuthering Waves - Stygian Lacrimosa - Search for the Backpack

In the early missions of the quest, you will be tasked to find a certain backpack around Fallen Grave in Whining Aix's Mire. Once finding it, this permanently unlocks the Ultrasonic Pulse Chip for you to use inside and outside of the quest.

Wuthering Waves - Equipping Ultrasonic Chip in Gadgetpod

To equip the Ultrasonic Pulse Chip, players must go to the Utilities Menu in the Terminal, then check out on the “Special” tab.

Fire Tornado In Front of You

Wuthering Waves - Stygian Lacrimosa - Use the Ultrasonic Pulse Chip to Attack TD

Once equipped, the player can use the utility to fire a vortex in front of them, which clears any mud patch and damage Tacet Discords along a short path in front of your character.

Cannot Be Used Outside Whining Aix's Mire

Unfortunately, this utility is not usable outside of Whining Aix's Mire. This immediately becomes disabled once the player steps out a certain boundary outside of the area.
