Unlock Urban Legend: The Anonymous Inviter
To access this quest, you have to first unlock the parent quest Urban Legend: The Anonymous Inviter. You get invinted to a paranormal club to talk about the weird happenings across Startorch Academy.

Construct Academic Road
A second requirement for this Side Quest is by doing the Tutorial Quest in the permanent event Operation: Frontier Renewal.
You have to construct the road for Howling Tunnel to properly unlock this quest. Make sure to farm lots of Mechanite and Compressed Bedrock to be able to construct this area.

Go See What They're Talking About
After completing the rehabilitation of Lightfall Tunnel, go there when you have some spare time. Listen in to some conversations by a group of people near the station.
Wait for Nightfall
After hearing about rumors about this Tunnel, go to the waiting station and wait out the night.
Survey Your Surroundings
Afterwards, the fog rolls in, and someone who looks eerily similar to Mayo can be seen under the lamp post. Simply approach her to continue.
Chase Mayo Down the Right of the Tunnel
Follow Mayo down the road. Do not use your Expedition Motorcycle here, as she is under more flickering lamp posts and can easily be missed from the speed alone.
Escape the Pursuit of the Paranormal
When you get to the end of the cave, something glowing in red will seemingly awaken from within the darkness of the fog. You automatically get on your bike, and ride away as fast as you can.
Head to a Safe Spot and Contact Mayo
With one final confrontation, the Mayo doppelganger disappears. Head back to the station to a safer area to contact the real Mayo and finish this Side Quest!

As this quest is basically a sub-quest for the main Side Quest Urban Legend: The Anonymous Inviter, there is no proper reward upon completion. Instead, you will be given a Basic Supply Chest at the end as compensation.
