| Strengths | |||
|---|---|---|---|
|
• Excellent and Consistent Electro DPS • Good Self and Team Sustain with Shielding • Has a time-stop ability that halts everything in-game, even end-game content timers. |
|||
| Weaknesses | |||
|
• Activating her time-stop Liberation will require precise timing when dealing with multi-wave content, as the next wave of enemies wil not spawn during her time-stop state. • Her materials are found in the later areas of the game. Players must progress through the story to upgrade her kit. • Slightly reliant on paid weapon options. She experiences significant drops in DPS with non-premium weapons. |
Augusta is a straight-forward Electro DPS that provides a lot for a unit, living up to her title as Ephor of Septimont. She is great at clearing end-game content due to her relatively high yet consistent damage, and she has a unique time-stop ability that can even pause timers.
She also has decent sustain due to her shielding mechanic that, although is quite low, has almost no downtime. This also extends to her teammates, with each Resonator getting their own shield.

1. CRIT Rate ★★★ 2. CRIT DMG ★★★ 3. Heavy Attack DMG Bonus ★★ 4. ATK% ★★ 5. Energy Regen ★ 6. Flat ATK ★ | ||
Augusta maximizes the 2.6 Echo Set, Crown of Valor, due to her innate shielding ability. Get the usual 4-3-3-1-1 Echo setup with a CRIT main stat, ideally The False Sovereign, to synergize well with Augusta's kit.
For her 3-COST Echoes, get both Electro DMG pieces to boost her damage, although you can get an ATK% piece if you don't have an Electro DMG piece yet but note that it will be performing slightly worse. As for sub-stats, prioritize getting double Crit rolls, followed by Heavy Attack DMG as Augusta primarily scales off it. Lastly, aim for around 120% Energy Regen to be comfortable with her Liberation rotations.
| Crit. Rate | 70-80% |
|---|---|
| Crit. DMG | 220% - 250% |
| ATK | 2100+ |
If you have Augusta at S0, aim for around 70-80% Crit. Rate to be more consistent with hitting Critical attacks. As for Crit. DMG, higher is generally better, although you want to get her ATK to be at least 2100. The most optimal number to aim for is neighboring 250% Crit. DMG if you get high rolls on all echoes, but something around 220% would be okay! Take note that you can also get an additional 20% Crit DMG from Crown of Valor so it will go even higher.
Her signature weapon, Thunderflare Dominion, only gives a 12.1% Crit. Rate stat, so we recommend getting a 4-COST Echo that still bears a Crit. Rate main stat. This allows her to reach a respectable 70% - 80% Crit Rate to hit those crits. Unfortunately, this means you'll have to rely on substat rolls for Crit DMG so building the optimal Augusta may take time.
| Main Echo | Explanation |
|---|---|
|
|
・The best main Echo to use on Augusta. ・Provides both Electro and Heavy Attack DMG Bonus passively by just having the Echo equipped. ・Deals high Electro DMG when Echo Skill is casted. |
|
|
・Alternative option for Augusta. ・Gives Electro DMG and Heavy Attack DMG after its Claw attack hits. ・Requires some time to get its bonuses and Echo Skill causes DPS loss for Augusta. ・Not to be confused with Nightmare: Tempest Mephis, as that Echo gives Res. Skill DMG instead of Heavy Attack DMG. |

(3-pc) (2-pc) |
★★★ - Best Augusta performs the best when using the 3-pc set, Crown of Valor, with Void Thunder's 2-pc set bonus. As Augusta can maintain a shield with her kit, she benefits from the massive ATK and Crit. DMG bonus Crown of Valor provides, while automatically getting the Electro DMG bonus from Void Thunder. Recommended Main Echo: |
|
(3-pc) (2-pc) |
★★☆ - 2nd Best The second best Echo set composition for Augusta is the 3-pc Crown of Valor and the 2-pc Lingering Tunes. Crown of Valor is the best Echo set for Augusta as she maximizes the ATK and CRIT. DMG bonuses it provides due to her ability to maintain a shield with her skills. Lingering Tunes is also a viable supplementary set due to its general ATK buffs. Recommended Main Echo: |
|
(5-pc) |
★☆☆ - 3rd Best An early game option for Augusta is the 5-pc Void Thunder set due to it being quite accessible in Huanglong. It provides a high Electro DMG Bonus, which Augusta greatly benefits from. Furthermore, Tempest Mephis gives extra Electro DMG and Heavy Attack DMG after the Echo Skill is used, so she benefits from this. Recommended Main Echo: |

Consensus Increases Basic Attack and Heavy Attack DMG Bonus by 12% |
Augusta's best-in-slot weapon is undoubtedly Thunderflare Dominion because of its great synergy with her abilities. The weapon gives high base stats and the weapon skill provides both ATK and Heavy Attack DMG, with a significant stacking DEF ignore to enemies.
Alternative options are not that far behind, however, as Verdant Summit can also be maximized by Augusta with its Heavy Attack DMG Bonus. For 4-star options, the BP weapon, Aureate Zenith, is her best option, but Helios Cleaver is also viable.
| Weapon | Skill |

|
|
Base ATK: 325 ATK +24.3% Consensus: Increases Basic Attack and Heavy Attack DMG Bonus by 12% |
For full F2P, the best Augusta weapon would be the Guardian Broadblade as it gives a Heavy Attack DMG Bonus, which Augusta benefits from. Do note that it will perform significantly worse than other weapons though as it is a 3-Star Weapon, with drastically lower base stats.

Augusta fits Iuno the best, not just thematically and lore-wise, but also in terms of gameplay. Each Resonator maximizes the other's kit to their utmost potential.
Iuno provides a whopping 40% All DMG amplification on top of a 50% Heavy Attack DMG amplification that only Augusta can fully utilize due to the pair's shield stacking mechanics.
As for the third slot, a support unit is quite flexible. However, Shorekeeper is arguably the best in most teams, with this one being no exception, as she provides excellent healing and general buffs to the entire team.
| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
| | Sub-DPS Replacement Mortefi is a more affordable Sub-DPS option if you don't have Iuno. He performs significantly better the more sequence nodes you have. |
| | Sub-DPS Replacement Yinlin can replace Iuno as the Sub-DPS since she amplifies Electro DMG, which is also viable for Augusta. She also deals Coordinated Attacks for off-field damage. |
| | Support Replacement Verina can be used instead of Shorekeeper, as she provides coordinated attacks, healing, and buffing to the team. |
| 1 | Start with Shorekeeper and build up her Resonance and Concerto Energy with her combos. Then, activate Stellarealm and switch to Iuno once her Intro is available. |
|---|---|
| 2 | As Iuno, immediately use Resonance Skill upon entering with her Intro to activate the Lunar Cycle. Then, jump afterwards to quickly enter the New Moon state. |
| 3 | In the New Moon state, cast her Liberation to fill her Sentience points. You can then continue this with three Basic Attacks and two enhanced Resonance Skills to consume her Forte energy. |
| 4 | After consuming all Sentience points and filling up her Concerto Energy, do a Heavy Attack to activate Full Moon Domain, which will generate Blessing of the Wan Light stacks for Augusta. Once done, switch to Augusta. |
| 5 | With Augusta on-field, quickly perform her Prowess-enhanced Heavy Attacks then cast Echo Skill to deal Electro DMG. |
| 6 | Cast Resonance Skill and Liberation, then a Heavy Attack combo afterwards to fill her Ascendancy stacks. Then, perform her 3-attack Resonance Skill combo. |
| 7 | Once she is able to do her Forte Plunge, activate her Majesty-enhanced Resonance Liberation and enter Sworn Allegiance. |
| 8 | Pause time for 7s. During this time, attack 9 times with Sunborne slashes then cast Everbright Protector. |
| 9 | After finishing Sworn Allegiance, deal a Heavy Attack Combo (HA + BA2-4). |
| 10 | Lastly, switch out to Shorekeeper with her Intro and detonate Stellarealm. |
| 11 | Repeat until all enemies are defeated. |

| Note: You may opt to use Midnight Veil as a 2-pc option for Phrolova since it also provides Havoc DMG Bonus. | |
A double DPS setup is a viable option for Augusta due to Phrolova's Heavy Attack DMG amplification that she greatly benefits from, together with Shorekeeper that boosts the team's overall damage with her general buffs.
| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
| | Sub-DPS Replacement Cantarella can replace Shorekeeper for a more damage-oriented team. While Shorekeeper generally gives more buffs, Cantarella increases Phrolova's value and DPS a lot with her Echo Skills being able to trigger Hecate's off-field attacks. |
| 1 | Start off with Shorekeeper and go through her internal rotations to build up her Resonance and Concerto gauges. Then, activate Stellarealm and switch to Phrolova when her Intro is available. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Generate six Volatile Notes via Phrolova's Basic Attack and Resonance Skill combos. Once six Volatile Notes are available, perform Scarlet Coda and enter the Resolving Chord state. |
| 3 | Perform her Liberation during the Resolving Chord state. As Hecate is summoned, Phrolova can control its performance. Switch to Augusta when Outro is available. |
| 4 | With Augusta on-field, quickly perform her Prowess-enhanced Heavy Attacks then cast Echo Skill to deal Electro DMG. |
| 5 | Activate her Resonance Skill and Liberation, followed by more Heavy Attacks to bring her Ascendancy to 100. |
| 6 | Next, cast her Forte-enhanced Resonance Skill combo. Once she is able to do her Forte Plunge, hold Liberation and enter Sworn Allegiance. |
| 7 | Time stops for 7 seconds. During this time, attack 9 times with Sunborne slashes then cast Everbright Protector. |
| 8 | Lastly, switch to Shorekeeper to finally detonate Stellarealm. |
| 9 | Repeat until all enemies are defeated. |

|
The video shown above has been sped up to 1.5 times the normal speed. It is primarily meant to show how Augusta is played.
| ① | Enter via Intro to automatically fill her Prowess points and do two Heavy Attacks to consume it. |
|---|---|
| ② | Cast her Resonance Skill and Resonance Liberation, followed by more Heavy Attacks to have her Ascendancy reach 100 stacks. |
| ③ | Once her Ascendancy is full, perform her Forte Resonance Skill combo and deal high Electro DMG. |
| ④ | After doing the empowered Plunge attack, cast her Liberation to enter Sword Allegiance for 7s. |
| ⑤ | During this state, time is paused. Do 9 Sunborne slashes and an empowered final slash. |
| ⑥ | The final slash ends Sword Allegiance and time continues. |
| ⑦ | Switch to another Resonator via her Outro to amplify their All Attribute DMG. |

| Normal Attacks | Restores Some Prowess |
|---|---|
| Intro Skill | Restores Full Prowess |
Prowess is one of four stacking mechanics that Augusta has in her kit. Her Prowess stacks empower her Heavy Attacks, dealing a good amount of Electro DMG.
You can build up Prowess by doing Normal Attacks. However, the best way to fill this gauge is by using her Intro Skill. You'll want to do this in every rotation as it restores her full Prowess whenever you enter with her Intro.
When Augusta's Prowess is full, she is able to perform Thunderoar: Backstep and Thunderoar: Spinslash. You can cast this ability by doing a Heavy Attack, followed by a Normal Attack.
Alternatively, you can also cast Thunderoar: Uppercut by simply jumping when her Prowess is full. Do note that Spinslash has the highest damage among these empowered attacks.

| Normal Attacks | ~10 Ascendancy |
|---|---|
| Resonance Skill | ~10 Ascendancy |
| Intro Skill | 20 Ascendancy |
| Resonance Liberation | 40 Ascendancy |
Ascendancy is one of four stacking mechanics that Augusta utilizes, with this mostly empowering her Resonance Skill via her Forte Circuit.
You can build up Ascendancy by utilizing most of her kit, even her Intro Skill. Once she reaches 100 points, you can perform her Enhanced Resonance Skills.
▼ Augusta Recommended Combos ▼
When Augusta reaches 100 Ascendancy, she can perform her Forte-enhanced Resonance Skills which chain into each other.
This combo starts off with her Undying Sunlight: Strike that slashes enemies, followed by Leap which brings her up into the air, before doing Plunge. Undying Sunlight: Plunge is her strongest attack in this combo and gives 1 Majesty when performed.

| Outro Skill | 1 Majesty |
|---|---|
| Inherent Skill 2 (If Majesty is 0) |
1 Majesty |
| Forte Res. Skill - Undying Sunlight: Plunge | 1 Majesty |
Augusta's main source of damage comes from her Liberation that lets her enter Sworn Allegiance for 7s. She can only enter this state when she has two Majesty stacks.
Majesty can only be received from her Outro or Inherent Skill to get 1 Majesty stack and the other one from Undying Sunlight: Plunge.
Sworn Allegiance is the state where Augusta is at her strongest. She effectively stops time for 7 seconds, including timers from end-game content like Whimpering Wastes and Tower of Adversity.
During this state, she is able to perform her strongest slashes against enemies. Do note that this time stop also stops timers for your allies' skills, so the whole 7 seconds do not count toward their rotations.
Augusta is only able to perform Sublime is the Sun - Sunborne when she is in Sworn Allegiance. You can perform this up to 9 times during the seven seconds she is in the state.
Once Augusta finishes dealing 9 Sunborne slashes unto her enemies, she is able to perform an even stronger attack, Sublime is the Sun - Everbright Protector.
This attack deals significantly high Electro DMG, considered as Heavy Attack DMG, and consumes all Crown of Wills. Do note that this can be performed early by holding the Liberation button and prematurely ends Sworn Allegiance, which isn't recommended for DPS.
When Augusta is in the Sworn Allegiance state, she is able to effectively walk on water without consuming any STA. Do note that ending the state automatically loses this effect.

| Glory's Favor (Inherent Skill 1) |
A shield for Augusta herself |
|---|---|
| Ruler's Realm (From Liberation) |
Individual shields for Augusta's allies |
Augusta can create shields for both herself and her teammates through her Inherent Skill and Liberation. Her Inherent Skill, Glory's Favor, can be triggered every 0.5s. That said, this shield is quite small and is even negligible.
For her teammates, Ruler's Realm is activated for 30s upon casting her Majesty-enhanced Liberation, Sublime is the Sun, excluding the time she is in Sworn Allegiance. This is a bigger shield and is active for 10s per Resonator.
Augusta has a relatively general supportive buff to the next Resonator as her Outro Skill gives a 15% All-Attribute DMG Amplification, making her quite flexible in teams.
Augusta also gains 1 point of Majesty and a stack of Crown of Wills when she performs her Outro Skill.
Crown of Wills gives 15% Electro DMG Bonus per stack, but can only be stacked up to 1 time at S0. When she performs Sublime is the Sun - Everbright Protector, all stacks are removed.

| Intro → HA1 → HA2 → Echo Skill → Res. Skill → Res. Lib. (Press) → HA1 → HA2 → Res. Skill (3x) → Res. Lib. (Hold) → BA (9x) → Res. Lib. (BA) → Outro |
This rotation maximizes Augusta's 3 stack mechanics, Prowess, Ascendancy, and Majesty, for a fast and optimal combo that deals high Electro DMG to enemies.
The first Heavy Attack string utilizes her filled Prowess gauge, followed by her aerial Resonance Skill combo that uses Ascendancy, and then finished by her Majesty-empowered Liberation state.

| Skill | Priority | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Normal Attack | ★★★☆☆ | Augusta will be using her Heavy Attacks throughout her rotations, so you will want to upgrade this skill. That said, her Liberation and Forte skills make up a bigger percentage of her damage, so upgrade this third. |
| Resonance Skill | ★★☆☆☆ | Her Resonance Skill is pretty straightforward, as it deals damage when you cast it. It isn't a major source of damage, so upgrade it after her other skills. |
| Forte Circuit | ★★★★☆ | Her Forte makes up a large portion of her damage, but comes second to her Resonance Liberation. We suggest upgrading this along with her Liberation, but prioritize maximizing that skill first. |
| Resonance Liberation | ★★★★★ | Augusta's Liberation is her main source of damage, so you want to prioritize this first. You'll effectively want to use this in most of her rotations, so upgrade this immediately. |
| Intro Skill | ★☆☆☆☆ | Her Intro Skill isn't anything special and is primarily used as a source of damage apart from making her rotations a lot easier. Prioritize this last. |

| S2 | ★★★★★ - Amazing Her S2 effectively lessens the requirement of her Crit. Ratio a lot, giving you virtually a 40% Crit. Rate increase when you have Crown of Wills active. She requires a lot of Crit. Rate, so this benefits her greatly, with her gaining more freedom to build other stats. |

I’m not sure if it will help or be worse. So Ideally She has CR Echo, CR Skill Tree, CR Weapon. But since I’m going to be running her with Jiyan’s Sig ( CD ) I was going to try the 44111 Running 2 CR 4cost Echos to make up for the for the miss Crit Rate from her weapon. I figured that + her skill tree combined with 150% base CD + 20% CD from Crown of Valor + Jiyan’s Sig & Echo Sub-stat roles would give me a decent Ratio + Shorekeeper is better. 70.5% CR / 218.6%CD + Echo Sub-stats.

But to Answer your Original question the easiest way to solve your problem that i can think of, Is to pair Augusta with Qiuyuan. when his Crit Rate is hits 65% He gives the whole team a Crit Dmg buff. Which is probably why Galbrena is top Dps in game right now. Her ideal build ( which does enough damage on its own ) + Crit Dmg Buff & Echo Skill buff from Qiuyuan + Shorekeeper’s Dmg Amp & Crit Rate Buff + Her Healing.
