Lynae and Mornye for Version 3.0

Lynae and Mornye are the new characters for Version 3.0, with Lynae having released in Phase 1 on December 25, 2025, while Mornye is set to join the roster on January 15, 2026 for Phase 2.
Both bring in new changes to the game with their ability to improve upon the Tune Break and Off-Tune mechanics.

In November 26, 2025, Wuthering Waves teased a bunch of new characters that are slated to release from ! Note that these characters will most likely release across multiple version updates with different banner dates.

A Pink-Haired Girl
In addition to the roster of characters teased last November 26, an unknown pink-haired girl appeared in the recent Transfer Student trailer released last December 5! Her tacet mark is found on a heart-shaped crest on her chest hinting that she could be a future Resonator.
Based on how she looks at Rover, it seems like she knows our protagonist from way back. Will she be able to tell us more about the forgotten history of the Rover?

As of Phase 1 of Version 3.0, there are currently 41 playable characters. Specifically there are 32 playable female characters, and 9 playable male characters.
This doesn't include Rover which can either be male or female based on your choice. If we include their three forms, the number of unique playable characters with their own kits rise up to 44.

Raise Character Level Cap
Gathering and consuming ascension materials is the only way to raise your character's level cap and make them stronger. Make sure to meet the world level requirements and gather all of the necessary materials to enhance your Resonators!

How to Get Characters
Summon From Convene Banners
The primary way to obtain Resonators in Wuthering Waves, especially the 5-stars, is to summon them through the Convene banners using a premium currency called Astrite.
With Wuthering Wave's pity system, you are guaranteed to pull a 5-star Resonator from a Character Covene banner after 80 pulls.

Obtain Free Characters from Events
Certain 4-star Resonators can be obtained for free from events in Wuthering Waves. For example, you can get a free copy of Sanhua in the login event called Gifts of Thawing Frost.
