Talk to Brant in the Fool's Elysium
To begin the quest, go to the Fool's Elysium and find Brant, along with others, betting on who will catch the first fish. Approach Brant and speak with him for a scene.
Go Have Dinner with the Troupe
After talking to Brant, follow him east of the Fool's Elysium; you can use the Resonance Beacon to get there quickly.
Change your in-game time from 18:00 to 23:00 and enter the tent to have dinner with the troupe.
Go Look for Bella
After a while, head to Ragunna City and find Bella at Margherita Restaurant. Approach and talk to Bella for a scene.
Look for Suspicious People in the Crowd
Following Brant's stunt, look for for a suspicious person among the crowd.
On Brant's right side, you'll see someone with the name Hesitant Man; go up to him for another scene.
Follow Brant to Look for Information
Go to Egla Town and approach the quest marker near the bridge. Speak with Brant, and the two of you will transform into Echoes.
Follow Brant to gather information, start by listening to the two pirates, then speak with Lottie Lost on the corner, and then finally follow Brant to hear Aldric's speech.
After a while, you will be fighting Pirate's Echo; defeat them and enjoy the cutscene.
Head to the Passenger Port
Following the scene in Egla Town, return to Ragunna City and proceed to the passenger port.
Once there, board the Gondola and travel to the nearby island.
Search on the Island
Once on the island, follow the quest marker and you'll be fighting more pirates.
After defeating the pirates, search for the treasures by interacting with the dig sites. There will be three dig spots, but you want the one with the yellow marking near the beacon.
Head to the Second Isle
After obtaining the Amber Key, board the Gondola once more and proceed to the second isle. The path to the second isle will be foggy; simply follow the quest marker to avoid deviating from the quest area.
Once in the island, you'll find Aldric talking with other pirates. Approach them and defeat the pirate echoes for another cutscene.
Head to Drake's Island and Talk to Aldric
Make your way to the third isle on your Gondola to find Aldric in front of the ruins, approach him for a scene. During the scene, you will be asked about Aldric's proposal; regardless of which options you select, Brant will accept his proposal.
After opening the door, Aldric will rush inside, and you and Brant will have to deal with two Chop Chops.
Find Another Way
Once the Chop Chops are defeated, a new path inside will open. Climb the ruin on the left to enter.
Explore the Ruins
Once inside, you'll find murals on the walls that you can investigate. Checking the broken murals and tattered notebook with yellow markings will advance the story.
Go Deeper Inside
Once you've checked out all of the murals, a new way will appear. Continue inside to see Aldric standing in front of the treasure chest.
Approach Aldric and prepare for another battle.
Talk to Brant
After the lengthy cutscene, you will be transported back to Fool's Elysium. Go approach Brant in front of you and speak with him to finally conclude the quest.
