Wuthering Waves Reroll Guide

Rerolling in Wuthering Waves requires creating a new account and progressing far enough in the story to complete. Learn how to Reroll including how long the process takes, and whether or not rerolling in the beginning is worth it!

How to Reroll

1. Create a New Account to Reroll

Since there's no guest log-in for Wuthering Waves, creating a new account each time to reroll is the only way of rerolling for better pulls in the game. Since data is linked to your email, this means creating or using a new email each time.

2. Progress Through The Story to Unlock

Complete the Utterance of Marvels Quest line and make it to Jinzhou City to unlock the Convene banners; the game's gacha system.

3. Pull from the Convene Banners

As soon as the Convene Banners are available, players can then roll on the gacha for your desired character.

It is highly suggested to at least roll on the Utterance of Marvels Novice Banner and get the guaranteed 5-star Resonator before deciding to reroll.

4. Go Back to Step 1 If You Fail to Pull Who You're After

Players will have to repeat the process again from creating a new Kuro Games account to logging into the newer account, and play through the story in order to do a reroll.

The 40 Free Lustrous Tides Will Allow You to Max Pulls on the Novice Convene

There's a limit on the number of gacha pulls you can make, and pulling a certain number of times will always result in a guaranteed 5-Star Resonator (known as a ceiling).

As of May 24, 2024, you can receive 40 free Lustrous Tides (the premium currency used for pulling from banners), and since the Novice banner gives you 10 pulls for just 8 of them, the free Lustrous Tides alone are enough to pull to the banner's ceiling.

However, if you manage to pull a 5-Star before reaching the ceiling, further pulls of 10 will cost 10 Lustrious Tides.

Rerolling Takes a Lot of Time

Although the free Lustrous Tides will let you pull to the Novice Convene's ceiling, the time it takes to reroll is rather long, as reaching this point in the story takes at least 30 to 40 minutes.

If you don't have a lot of free time, or you want to hurry up and play they game, your best bet is to take the free pulls, reach the Novice Convene banner's ceiling, and not worry too much, as you will have chances to pull again down the line.

From May 26, 2024, players can receive a special Selector that allows players to pick and receive a Standard 5-star Resonator outright. This special Selector does not expire until May 22, 2025, giving players one year to use this at their discretion.

This Selector guarantees two 5-star Resonators of choice in your account (along with the Beginner's Choice Convene), where at that point, it might feel redundant to reroll unless the target is one Resonator and use the others to unlock their Resonance Chain.
