To Mt. Firmament Walkthrough

Level Up Your Characters and Weapons

Althought this is not part of the main quest's walkthrough, it is recommended to ascend and level up your characters and weapons as the enemies in Mt. Firmament scale at your current SOL3 Phase Level.

You may lower your SOL3 Phase Level if you have underleveled characters or weapons or do not have enough materials to ascend them.

Head to the Ferry

Fast travel to the Huanglong-Whining Aix's Mire Resonance Beacon south of Jinzhou to reach the yellow marker.

Arrive at Mt. Firmament

Follow the yellow marker that leads to a cliffside for a cutscene to activate.

Repair the Bridge with Chronosorter

Activate the circular mechanism nearby to use the Chronosorter. Press the left arrow button to move the slider to the left side to repair the bridge.

Go Further into Mt. Firmament

Follow the yellow marker until a group of enemies spawn at the area. Defeat the enemies once the quest objective changes to "Defeat the Fractsidus".

After defeating the enemies, follow the yellow marker until you reach a bridge and a cave opening.

Disable the Photonvault and Photon Barrier

Switch to a character with a long-range weapon like Chixia and hit the 2 Photonvaults to disable the Photon Barrier.

Head to the Temporal Barrier Through the Cave

Follow the yellow marker as you enter inside the cave to activate a cutscene.

Go Further into Mt. Firmament

Follow the yellow marker as you make your way through the open area. Make sure to activate the Resonance Nexus to unlock the portion of the map.

Follow the Resonance Traces

Follow the yellow Resonance Traces on the floor. The traces will eventually lead you to an open area with a group of enemies. Defeat them and find the end of the Resonance Traces near a pond on the east side.

Inspect the Pond

Head to the pond and interact with the two vases in the middle of it to activate a hidden door behind the waterfall.

Disable the Photonvault and Photon Barrier

Switch to a character with a long-range weapon like Chixia and hit the 3 Photonvaults to disable the Photon Barrier.

After disabling the Photon Barrier, enter the chamber to proceed with the next objective.

Learn about the life of Hongzhen residents

You can talk to named NPCs as Xinyi slowly walks to the destination to learn about the Hongzhen residents living inside the area.

Head to the Truthseeker's Pass

Follow the yellow marker to exit the area. Once you are in the open area, you can use the Leap Device to quickly make your way to the Truthseeker's Pass without having to wade through the water.

Reach the yellow marker for a cutscene to activate and to complete the quest.
