Echo Farming Tips |
---|
|
If you don't have any particular use for your Waveplates, you can spend them on Tacet Field Cleanups. Tacet Fields reward random Echoes and Echo enhancement materials like Tubes and Tuners. This isn't recommended unless you're farming for Echo materials as Waveplates are better spent on other resources.
Every week, you'll have 15 chances to make Bosses drop Echoes at a higher rate. Make sure to maximize the Enhanced Drop Rate by using these chances on powerful Cost 4 Echoes that your team needs.
List of 4-Cost Echoes and Stats
You can increase the Enhanced Drop Rate by increasing your Data Bank Level, making farming easier on higher levels. It's also recommended to level it quickly so you can reach the 20% Base Drop Rate sooner.
Enhanced Drop Rate and Data Bank Level
The best way to get more Echoes is to beat more Echoes. Explore around the world and defeat all enemies that can drop Echoes along the way. It's best to do this with a high Data Bank Level so you'll have better chances of getting high-rarity Echoes.
If there's an Echo you want to target, use the Guidebook's Echo Hunting to automatically track them.
Although they're tough to beat when unprepared, defeating some special enemies can give you a 4-star or 5-star Echo, regardless of your Data Bank Level.
While farming, you may end up with a lot of Echoes that don't have particularly useful stats or Sonatas. You can use Data Merge to combine five of them into another random Echo.
Since your world only has a limited number of Echoes per day, you can bypass the reset by farming Echoes in other worlds.

Ways to Get 5-Star Echoes |
---|
|
5-Star Echoes start appearing when you reach Data Bank level 15 and defeat enemies. This does not mean they are guaranteed drops however.
How to Increase Data Bank Level Guide
Another way of obtaining 5-Star Echoes is through the Data Merge function. The resulting Echoes you get are tied to your Data Bank level, so it's recommended to only merge Echoes at Data Bank level 15.
The chances of getting a 5-Star Echo from Data Merge is increased when you merge Echoes with higher rarity.
One of the rewards from the Illusive Realm is a 5-Star Echo Selector called Malleable Elite Class Echo. They cost 400 Illusive Specimen each, and are obtained by clearing Illusive Realm stages.
Depths of Illusive Realm Guide
Complete Tacet Fields at SOL3 Phase 4 for a chance to get 5-Star Echoes. Keep in mind that Tacet Fields require Waveplates to claim the rewards.
How to Raise Your SOL3 Phase Level
Special enemies drop 5-Star Echoes, with higher-leveled ones having a greater chance of dropping one.
They have fixed levels but are quite challenging. If you can't defeat one, consider coming back when you have raised the level of your Resonators.
Participate in the Echo Summon Web Event to get a 5-Star Echo. The event started back in April 29, 2024 and will end on June 6, 2024
After you've absorbed Echoes, go to the Echoes tab in the left side of the Resonators screen. You'll then find different slots to the right where you can equip up to 5 Echoes.
The Echo you equip in the first slot will be assigned as your Echo Skill. Each Resonator can equip different Echoes so feel free to experiment and which ones suit your play style.
Use your Echo Skill by pressing Q on the keyboard. Your Echo Skill will immediately go into cooldown when used.
When fighting enemies, you essentially have 3 Echo Skills when you swap characters in and out of combat.
Class | Number to Pity |
---|---|
Elite | 4 |
Overlord | 2 |
Calamity | 2 |
Based on a pattern discovered by KokkyGachas, Echoes can guarantee a drop if you don't get any drops after a certain number in a row. The pity counter is based on Class, so if you defeat 3 Elites in a row without a drop, the next Elite Echo will guarantee a drop.
Overlord and Calamity Echoes are counted separately but both guarantee a drop if you fail to roll one even with an Enhanced Drop Rate. This means if you beat a Calamity Echo like the Bell-Borne Geochelone and don't get a drop, the pity only guarantees the next Calamity Echo will drop but not Overlord Echoes.
The Echo pity system is possibly a bug, so it may get patched in future updates. Take advantage of the Echo pity system to get the specific Echo you want!
