Mornye is a 5-star Fusion Broadblade character and the second to be released in 3.0's Lahai-Roi. She is an excellent healer support with her ability to provide a multitude of buffs to the entire team, such as an enhanced Off-Tune Buildup Rate to trigger Tune Break, interruption resistance, and various sustain tools in her kit.
One of her main value propositions as a playable character is her versatility with the two Shifting Mechanics. She can enable both Tune Rupture and Strain, and can work alongside Lynae to boost each others' damage. That said, she cannot be a DPS on her own and will mostly be the Support for the team.

Mornye is primarily built as a Support, only requiring to improve her own healing output and buffing capabilities. For her Main Stats, get a Healing Bonus 4-COST, two Energy Regen 3-COSTs, and two DEF% 1-COSTs. Her substats are roughly the same, with ER as the top priority, followed by DEF%, Flat DEF, and Crit. DMG.

It is highly suggested to meet the 260% Energy Regen requirement for the entire team to maximize Mornye's Interfered Marker effect, causing enemies to take 40% more damage. Furthermore, her Liberation becomes stronger, as it gains additional Crit. stats based on her ER, boosting her overall damage.
Take note that the Crit. stat increase provided by Critical Protocol is not given to other allies, and is only for the instance of DMG dealt by her Liberation.

If you still haven't farmed the Halo of Starry Radiance set, Rejuvenating Glow is completely viable, as it performs roughly the same, albeit having a 10% less ATK increase for all alies.
Mornye is still built similarly with Energy Regen as the top priority, followed by DEF, and then lastly her Crit. DMG, if at all. For her best Echo in this build, we suggest using Fallacy of No Return since it gives extra ER and another 10% bonus ATK for all alies, making up for what was lost in the set replacement.

Mornye's best weapon is Starfield Calibrator as it gives her the stats she needs on top of giving additional Crit DMG to other allies. However, Discord is a more affordable option for most players, giving a lot of ER for a 4-star weapon. We suggest going for S1 first over her signature weapon if you already have one copy of Discord.
Alternatively, you can use weapons that provide extra Energy Regen or DEF to boost her buffing and healing capabilities, like Dauntless Evernight or Broadblade#41.

Mornye works the best with with Lynae to buff a burst damage DPS like Iuno, while contributing damage of their own via the Off-Tune mechanic. Mornye provides high Off-Tune Buildup Rate stats for the entire team, allowing everyone to trigger Tune Break a lot more consistently.
As for Lynae, she increases Tune Break DMG significantly for the team, while also providing Resonance Liberation DMG and All-Type DMG Amplification to Iuno, making her hit a lot stronger. Sustain is also quite comfortable in this team, as both Mornye and Iuno provide team-wide heals.

You can run Mornye with Main DPS Lynae to create a strong team that's quite reliant on the Off-Tune mechanic. Mornye drastically increases the Off-Tune Buildup Rate, letting Lynae trigger Tune Break more frequently.
Aside from this, Mornye increases the DMG taken by enemies with Interfered Marker and can give multiple heals throughout her kit. As for Sanhua, she gives a lot of Basic Attack DMG to Lynae thanks to her Outro's Amplification of this damage type.

With the addition of Tune Break in 3.0, Lynae and Mornye can make up a flex team with any hypercarry DPS, as Tune Break works for all Resonators. Mornye provides Off-Tune Buildup Rate, letting Tune Breaks happen more frequently.
Meanwhile, Lynae enhances Tune Break DMG, letting this be an additional source of DMG and way to reduce enemies' Vibration Strengths. On top of this, the pair gives multiple All DMG buffs, making for a pretty flexible comp regardless of attribute.

Rest Mass Energy is one of her two stacking mechanics and is generated with her attacks while on the ground. This can be easily built up by doing three Basic Attacks or automatically filled if she enters the field with her Intro skill.
When playing as Mornye, her other attacks like Heavy Attack, Dodge Counter, and her standard Resonance Skill also generate stacks, but are rarely used in her optimal combos.
If Mornye enters the field via her Intro skill, her Rest Mass Energy is automatically filled and she immediately enters the Floating state. This is important to note, as you can essentially skip her being on the ground during succeeding rotations.

Once Mornye has her Forte gauge full, she can cast Heavy Attack to go up in the air. This is her Wide Field Observation Mode, which lets her cast a new skill set, including Basic Attacks and an enhanced Resonance Skill. Furthermore, it generates a healing field in the area called Syntony Field, which gives buffs to the entire team.
Make sure to avoid interacting with objects, pressing jump, using utilities, or touching the ground, as these actions will automatically cancel the Wide Field Observation Mode.

Mornye's Resonance Liberation, Critical Protocol, receives additional Crit. Rate of up to 80% and Crit. DMG of up to 160% scaling off her excess Energy Regen. After its initial damage, it also upgrades her Syntony Field into an enhanced version if it is present on-field.
Take note that the Crit. Rate and Crit. DMG buffs only apply to the instance of damage dealt by her Resonance Liberation. It doesn't buff Mornye's stats directly or pass on to her allies.

When Mornye casts her Resonance Liberation with her Syntony Field up, she converts it into a High Syntony Field that inherits all of its effects and adds even more benefits to the team.
Always activate Resonance Liberation after she enters Wide Field Observation Mode and deploys Syntony Field before swapping out of the field to maximize its buffs.
Once Mornye's Relative Momentum
Observation Marker doesn't provide any buffs, but is necessary for her to apply another debuff called Interfered Marker. This is inflicted if Tune Break DMG is dealt to enemies with Tune Rupture or Tune Strain present.

Interfered Marker is a debuff onto enemies that causes them to take increased DMG from your characters based on Mornye's excess Energy Regen. If you have 260% Energy Regen, enemies will take 40% more damage from her and other allies.
This lasts for 8s and is present even after Mornye is off-field. That said, enemies must be inflicted with Tune Rupture or Tune Strain to effectively utilize this debuff.
Off-Tune Mechanic: How to Apply Mistuned
Mornye's S1, Silent Observer, removes the requirement of having to inflict Tune Rupture or Tune Strain on enemies. This makes her fit into a lot more teams, especially when working with non-3.x characters!

You may use the Intro Rotation alternate combo for the succeeding rotations with her team.
This rotation optimally uses her multiple stacking mechanics to activate her Interfered Marker and Syntony Fields for other Resonators. To begin, generate Rest Mass Energy with Basic Attacks, then cast Heavy Attack to enter Wide Field Observation Mode.
Once this state is available, cast 3 Basic Attacks. On the third attack, cast Resonance Skill before the animation finishes to save time. This can also be done with her Liberation by casting it before her Resonance Skill finishes. Once her Liberation ends, cast Heavy Attack and exit via Outro.

Cast Heavy Attack - Geopotential Shift to deal Fusion DMG, considered Heavy Attack DMG. Afterward, Mornye jumps into mid-air, consumes all Rest Mass Energy and enters Wide Field Observation Mode. Wide Field Observation Mode: Wide Field Observation Mode lasts for 30s. - Upon entering Wide Field Observation Mode, Mornye generates a Syntony Field. - While in Wide Field Observation Mode, Mornye gains Relative Momentum. - If Relative Momentum is below 100 when holding Normal Attack, perform Basic Attack - Wide Field Observation Mode Stage 1 to 3 in sequence. If Relative Momentum reaches 100 during this time, cast Heavy Attack - Inversion instead. - While moving, Mornye continuously consumes STA. STA cannot be recovered while in Wide Field Observation Mode. - When Dodging with directional input, Mornye starts to fly at speed, which lasts for up to 10s or until STA is depleted or until the Wide Field Observation Mode ends. - When Mornye is hit or launched into mid-air, press Dodge to immediately recover from the attack, which is considered a successful Dodge.
