Who is Abby?
Referred to As Abraxas
During the Dawn Breaks on Dark Tides, when Leviathan was about to get beaten by Rover and his band of heroes, Leviathan called out to Abby, referring to them as Abraxas, a familiar name which Abby first mentioned right before donning its name.
Rover's Echo Companion
Abby is the echo-like companion of Rover that dwells within their Tacet Mark. The true nature of Abby is still currently unexplored, but its appearance and ability to comprehend other Echoes, are all factored to the assumption that it might be a more advanced and sentient type of Echo.
Can Absorb Echoes and the Dark Tide
Abby has the ability to absorb Echoes which enabled Rover to absorb them even without the use of a Pangu Terminal. Additionally, Abby can also absorb the Dark Tide, but only to a certain amount, as ingesting too much can deplete its overall energy.
During the fight against Dark Tide in Septimont, Abby helped Rover suppress being engulfed by its torrents, which eventually resulted to Leviathan gaining access to Rover. This led to them being the Harbinger of the Dark Tide, unbeknownst to Abby.
