Grant EXP to Resonators

To level up your Resonators, they need to collect a certain amount of Resonator EXP to go up a level. The higher the level, the larger the required EXP total is.

Use Resonance Potions

The main way to increase the level of your Resonators is through giving them Resonance Potions. Depending on the type of Resonance Potion you give to your characters, the EXP given will vary in amount; the rarer it is, the more Resonator EXP it provides.

Defeat Enemy Monsters

Defeating monsters in the overworld also provides Resonator EXP to your character. However, it is such a small amount that you would have to defeat a large amount of monsters before you can reach the next level. Stick to Resonator Potions to make this faster.

Resonance EXP Separate from Weapon EXP

Leveling up your Resonators and their weapons are two completely separate endeavors. They are leveled up separately, and thus need different kinds of EXP material to level up.

Ascension to Increase Level Cap

Ascension is the function that allows the Resonator to increase their Level cap. This is the only way to get characters up to the maximum level for Resonators in the game, which is Level 90.

Materials Needed for Ascension

Each level of Ascension requires a set amount of materials in order to break the Level cap. The higher the level, the rarer and more demanding the materials required.

Depending on the materials needed, you might need to increase your Union Level and SOL3 Level to be able to get a chance to have those rarer material drops.

Forte Chain Unlocking

Forte Chains are part of the Resonator's play style that can be upgraded bit by bit, which includes their attacks , Resonance Skills, Resonance Liberation and Intro Skill.

Ascensions Needed to Improve Fortes

Certain levels and Ascensions are required for the player to be able to improve a character's Forte. Keep that in mind when trying to boost a Resonator's attacks and abilities.

Echo Equipment

The Echoes you absorb in battle can be equipped to your characters, providing additional boosts to certain stats and make their playstyle profound. They can also be leveled up to further increase the boost for your Resonator's stats.

Tuning Echoes for Substats

By Tuning an Echo, substats are then unlock to give even more buffs to your Resonator. Each equipped Echo can receive up to three more substats via Tuning.
