List of Contents
| Rank | Echo | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| 1 |
Thundering Mephis Thundering Mephis Echo Skill: For each Special Skill owned by your other Echoes, increase all your Echoes' Crit. Rate by 3% in the Battle Stage, stacking up to 12 times.
Trial: Modulate 8 times, or reach Round 5. |
The Thundering Mephis rewards your entire team with a Crit Rate buff for stacking skills through Modulation. As Modulating is something you already want to be doing, it is very easy to get value out of this Core Echo. |
| 2 |
Fallacy of No Return Fallacy of No Return Echo Skill: When you use Transform, increase this Echo's STR and CON by 1 until the round ends.
Trial: Use Transform 5 times, or reach Round 5. |
With proper Transform support, the Fallacy of No Return can easily become a stat-stick every round it's deployed. This gives you a consistent, powerful force on the battlefield if played correctly. |
| 3 |
Inferno Rider Inferno Rider Echo Skill: When Deployed, this Echo additionally gains Last Stand. When it remains in the Deployment Zone, increase STR and CON of all your Echoes with Last Stand by 3 when the Deployment Stage ends. This effect lasts for 1 round.
Trial: HP is at or below 15, or reach round 5. |
While its effect is only for Echoes with Last Stand, the Inferno Rider packs a powerful punch that can swing the tide in your favor, if not outright win you the match when played. |
| 4 |
Feilian Beringal Feilian Beringal Echo Skill: In the Battle Stage, your Echoes recover 3% of their Max HP per second.
Trial: Fail to win 3 Battle Stages in total, or reach Round 5. |
The Feilian Beringal provides a good amount of survivability to your team with its healing, but that healing can be overcome by higher-powered enemy Echoes. |
| 5 |
Hecate Hecate Echo Skill: When this Echo is Deployed, increase DMG by 8.
-This Echo doesn't deal damage in the first 15s of the Battle Stage. -At 15s into the Battle Stage, destroy all your Echoes except this one and recover 30% of its Max HP. Then, increase this Echo's DMG dealt to enemy Echoes by 60%, Crit. Rate by 30%, and reduce its DMG taken by 30%. This effect lasts for 15s. Trial: Have 6 of your Echoes downed in total, or reach Round 5. |
Hecate's massive self-buffs are powerful, but losing the rest of your team to activate it more often than not hurts your chances in battle. She can, however, work as a comeback fighter if your team is already losing. |
| 6 |
Sentry Construct Sentry Construct Echo Skill: When the Battle Stage starts, if this Echo is Deployed in this round and still remains in the Deployment Zone, deal 6 additional DMG to your opponent when the Battle Stage ends.
Trial: Have 3 Activated “Flank Force” in the Deployment Zone, or reach Round 5. |
The Sentry Construct's player HP damage is unmatched. However, it does not provide any actual buff to your team when fighting, limiting its usefulness in combat. |
For Peaks of Prestige, Thundering Mephis is one of the best Core Echoes to use as its buff is easy to stack and affects the whole team. Fallacy of No Return and Inferno Rider are also viable choices for their powerful buffs.
| Echoes | Explanation |
|---|---|
Questless Knight Questless Knight Echo Skill:
When you Modulate this Echo, for each Special Skill it owns, increase its DMG dealt to enemy Echoes in the Battle Stage by 20%, stacking up to 5 times. |
The Questless Knight has a great Echo Skill that can vastly amp its damage in battle when set up, while also having good AoE on its attacks. |
Vitreum Dancer Vitreum Dancer Echo Skill:
When you Modulate this Echo, draw 3 cards. |
When Modulated, the Vitreum Dancer draws you three cards, instantly refilling your hand and giving you more options to work with. |
Abyssal Patricius Abyssal Patricius Echo Skill:
When the Deployment Stage ends, increase this Echo's STR and CON by 2 until the round ends. This skill only takes effect in the first 4 rounds. |
The Abyssal Patricius is a powerful early-drop that can win you Rounds 1 to 4 due to its bonus stats from its skill. Look to drop it early on for maximum benefit. |
Lumiscale Construct Lumiscale Construct Echo Skill:
When you Modulate this Echo, if Taunt and Toughness are already Activated, there is a 50% chance to recover 10% of its Max HP when attacked in the Battle Stage. This effect can be triggered once per second. |
The Lumiscale Construct constantly teleports around the field, making it difficult to hit. It also has good AoE on its attacks, and becomes significantly tankier if you fulfill its skill conditions. |
Diurnus Knight Diurnus Knight Echo Skill:
Transform (3): Increase your Echoes' STR by 2 until the round ends. This Echo will not be consumed when Transformed but instead shuffled back to the deck. |
What makes the Diurnus Knight special is that its Transform effect is repeatable, meaning that you will consistently have access to a buff for your entire team. |
The above Echoes are sorted in no particular ranking order.
For 3-Cost Echoes, the Questless Knight, Vitreum Dancer, and Lumiscale Construct are recommended due to their combat prowess. The Diurnus Knight and Vitreum Dancer, on the other hand, offer good utility through skills.
| Echoes | Explanation |
|---|---|
Diggy Duggy Diggy Duggy Echo Skill:
Transform (1): Draw 3 cards. |
Diggy Duggy provides an invaluable 3 card burst draw when Transformed, making it very difficult to match its utility as a 1-cost echo. |
Sabyr Boar Sabyr Boar Echo Skill:
Transform (1): Gain 3 points of Energy. Special Skill: Toughness - When this Echo is attacked during the Battle Stage, DMG taken is reduced by 35% for 5s. Reset the cooldown instead of stacking if triggered again. |
The Sabyr Boar has the unique Transform ability of adding 3 Energy to your pool, making it the only Echo capable of burst-refilling that resource. This, in turn, enables more actions afterwards. |
Havoc Warrior Havoc Warrior Special Skill:
Versatility - When Versatility is Activated, this Echo can be Modulated by any Normal Echo with no restrictions. |
The Havoc Warrior is an interesting 1-cost that serves as the base of a powerful Echo stack, due to its Versatility ability. Proper Modulating will lead to a stacked Echo that can easily take down several enemies. |
Vanguard Junrock Vanguard Junrock Echo Skill:
When you Modulate this Echo, draw 2 cards. Special Skill: - Invisibility |
The Vanguard Junrock is an excellent early drop that serves to draw you more options when Modulated. In early combat, it can also soak damage decently well. |
Fusion Warrior Fusion Warrior Echo Skill:
When this Echo is in the Deployment Zone, draw 1 additional card at the start of the Deployment Stage each round. Special Skill: Flank Force - When this Echo is in Deployment Zone (either Frontline or Backline) with another two Echoes, all of them gain 1 DMG when the Deployment Stage ends, until the end of the round. |
The Fusion Warrior nets you one bonus card every round after it is played. Leave it on the battlefield and focus on Modulating other Echoes first to best utilize its skill. |
Nimbus Wraith Nimbus Wraith Special Skill:
Recharge - You gain 1 point of Energy each time using Transform. |
The Nimbus Wraith is another Utility 1-cost that, when Modulated over, refunds your Transform activations with 1 Energy. This eases up the cost of Transforming, and allows you leeway with further actions. |
Electro Predator Electro Predator Special Skill:
Resilience - The first time this Echo takes a fatal blow during a Battle Stage, it will remain standing for an additional 5s before being downed. |
The Electro Predator is recommended mainly due to its surprising damage output, despite its damage stat only being 1. Its attacks hit accurately, and hit multiple times, leading to a consistent damage output early on. |
The above Echoes are sorted in no particular ranking order.
Many of the 1-cost Echoes recommeneded here offer utility, such as through card advantage, or through energy regeneration. The Electro Predator, however, is a uniquely powerful combat 1-cost that should not be overlooked.
