Wrong! Just won the battles Luppa, Ciaccona, Brant, Calcharo by using the build shown in the guide, I didn't gave a clue how that card game worked and still was pretty easy just try Electro-Havoc it was easy win

Use his deck and try to summon the Car and hope he doesn't summon it.. If you just see him summon the car, leave and restart
