Teleport to the Titanbone Expanse Resonance Nexus and speak with Postumia to begin photographing the area's landmark. Climb to the top of the ruins adjacent to her, and take out your Zoom Camera.
Adjust your camera's lens until the circle borders turn green, and take a shot! The photo will be collected afterward, granting you immediate rewards!

Fast Travel to the nearest Resonance Beacon northwest of Border Mountain and walk directly east of it to meet with Postumia once more. After speaking to her, walk toward the Ashen Dragon's Crypt entrance and take a photo with you Zoom Camera.
Align the landmark with your camera's lens until the screen turns green, and snap a photo! Doing this will successfully complete the trace, and grant you its rewards!
Uncovering Past Heroes III

Teleport to the Resonance Beacon located in the ruins southwest of Mournfell Canyon, and climb upward to meet Postumia. Defeat all of the enemies within the area, then walk toward the photo location by the edge of the cliff.
In your Zoom Camera, adjust the position of your lens until the borders turn green and snap a shot to collect the photo!

In order to reach this area, immediately talk to Postumia in Mournfell Canyon to be teleported to the islet. If you happen to leave the area while the quest is still in progress, you may either Fast Travel to the Tacet Field within the vicinity, or fly down from the peak of Vale of Glory.
Once there, speak to Postumia and head to the grassy spot next to her and take out your Zoom Camera. Adjust the lens until its borders turn green and snap the photo to collect it!

While at the Mournfell Canyon Islet, speak with Postumia again to teleport back to the mainland. Otherwise, you may simply fast travel to the Titanbone Expanse Resonance Nexus and meet her northeast from it.
Speak to Postumia and use your Sensor to locate Ta-Da. After interacting with it, take out your Zoom Camera and snap a photo of Capitoline Hill from the photo spot!

Fast Travel to the Resonance Beacon within Capitoline Hill and speak with Nicus by Colosseum Olymdos.
Afterwards, walk to the photo spot location and take out your Zoom Camera. Align it so that the ribbon display in the colosseum fits within your lens and take a photo to complete the photo collection and the quest!
How to Play Uncovering Past Heroes
Initiate the Uncovering Past Heroes Side Quest
Upon completing the Chapter 2 Act 5 Main Quest, the Side Quest Uncovering Past Heroes will become available in your quest log.
Teleport to the nearest Resonance Beacon to the north of Titanbone Expanse in Septimont, and talk to the arguing father and daughter to initiate this quest. All Photos will be collected through this method!
Collect Photos and Explore Septimont
Take Photos of landmarks around Septimont with your Zoom Camera while accompanying the father and daughter duo. Each photo taken will be stored in your Trace Scale and give you a corresponding reward for completion!

Regardless of the event's duration, Uncovering Past Heroes will still be accessible for players to complete by selecting the Trace Scale in their inventory and tapping the Proceed button, or by equipping it on the Utility Wheel.
