Wuthering Waves 2.3 has released last April 29, 2025. Players are now celebrating WuWa's birthday anniversary with multiple quests and events showcasing the game's characters and locations!

Players may look back on their experiences from starting out in Huanglong to the end of the main quest in Rinascita.

Version 2.3 has introduced two new characters. First, Zani is an upcoming 5-star Spectro Gauntlet user that is going to revolve around Spectro Frazzle stacks to deal damage. Next, Ciaccona will be an upcoming 5-star Aero Pistol user that will use the Aero Erosion mechanic.

Zani will have her own Convene banner in Phase I of Version 2.3, starting on April 29, 2025, alongside her weapon, Blazing Justice.

She will then be followed by Ciaccona's own banner together with her signature weapon, Woodland Aria on May 22, 2025.

For Wuthering Waves' Anniversary, a new type of banner has released alongside the limited banners. Players will get to pull for previous limited characters on the new Anniversary Resonator Convene banner, with Jiyan, Yinlin, Zhezhi, Xiangli Yao, and Phoebe during Phase I of the update, together with their signature weapons.

As for Phase 2, the Anniversary Convene banner will feature Jinhsi, Changli, Carlotta, Roccia, and Brant. Furthermore, their signature weapons will also be featured in the Anniversary Weapon Convene banner, which will also be available during Phase 2.

Blazing Justice is a 5-star Gauntlet and is the signature weapon for the Spectro character, Zani. This weapon is available to get from its own Absolute Pulsation banner in the first half of Version 2.3, running together with Zani.

After setting your birthdate in the main menu and enjoy the Birthday Blessing rewards once you login on your birthday or within 7 days after.

Upgraded Returnee Event

The Returnee Event will now have better rewards which you can collect by completing the event's tasks. Boss and Weekly Challenges will have double the rewards during this time as well!

Ten Radiant Tides will also be rewarded for players who haven't played in 60 days.
