Part of Wuthering Waves's Version 2.1 event is the the fishing minigame, where players have to arrange their cargo with minimal capacity. Check out tips on how to maximize their catches with the capacity provided, as well as ways on how to increase cargo space here!

How to Arrange Cargo

Balance Between Cargo Space and Fish Price

The first thing to always prioritize while fishing for the Permanent Event Old Man and the Whale, is getting maximum profit off of the Fish you put in the Cargo Space. There is only so much capacity, so adjust pieces around the moment you get fish of higher value and/or rarity.

Rotate Pieces

The positions of the fish are static in layout, but they can be rotated around like Tetris pieces. Use this to your advantage and use up as much capacity as possible to get maximum value out of your cargo.

Get Quick Sale Upgrade

Upon reaching the Event Quest "Love in Time of Fishing", the Quick Sale upgrade is unlocked. This allows players to sell fish without having to go back to the pier once per voyage.

Look for White Dotted Outlines

Once you get the Quick Sale Upgrade, make sure to pay attention to areas dotted with white lines. Cargo pieces that are placed here, even partially, can be sold off without having to go back to the pier via Quick Sale.

This lets players let go of pieces quickly when the cargo is full, or they can take advantage of high-value pieces while trying to find fish of equal or higher rarity.

How to Increase Cargo Space

Get Capacity Upgrade Fishing Ability

Getting the Capacity Upgrade in the Fishing Ability is highly suggested to be the first upgrade you get once you unlock in each upgrade tier. This not only increases your cargo space and allow you to store more fish, it also unlocks certain fishing areas that require a bigger cargo space!

Available Cargo Upgrades

In the upgrade map, players can avail the Capacity Upgrade three times. Each one significantly increases the capacity available for fish cargo storage.
