Fool's Gold can be collected in the overworld as you go on your adventure. These items naturally regenerate over time and can be farmed indefinitely. It can be found in the following specific locations shown above. If you've already activated a Resonance Beacon near that area, you can simply use fast travel to immediately get to that point.

A versatile, bronzed iron ore often mistaken for gold, though it's not hard to tell the difference upon closer inspection. In the past, con artists would craft Fool's Gold into jewelry and sell it as real gold. Though such tricks are long obsolete, the name "Fool's Gold" endures to this day.

pickaxes are where i found fool's gold; some of these may be in underground areas. gems are resonator calcite.

Secret Entrance - Rinascita - Ragunna - Pentitent's End - Both ores are plentiful here. Just follow the road under the secret entrance and out the southwest end. You'll find multiple spots for each ore. Resonance Nexus - Rinascita - Ragunna - Whisperwind Haven - NE following the road a bit along the edges of the hills.
