Complete Chapter 1 Act 7 Thaw of Eons

Wuthering Waves - Thaw of Eons
A New Companion becomes available on your quest log after completing the prerequisite Main Quest: Thaw of Eons. You can find the starting point at Jinzhou.

From the Echoes of Destruction (Part 1) Walkthrough

Head to the Port City of Guixu and meet with Yangyang

Wuthering Waves - Act 8 - Head to the Port City of Guixu and meet with Yangyang

Fast travel to Port City of Guixu and find Yangyang and a new character. Approach them to activate a cutscene and be introduced a member of the Black Shores, Youhu.

Search for the Black Shores researcher

Wuthering Waves - Act 8 - Search for the Black Shores Researcher

A little northeast to where the cutscene ended, approach the Black Shores researcher to learn about abnormal frequencies. She will give you the coordinates for the location.

Head to the designated coordinates

Wuthering Waves - Act 8 - Head to the designated coordinates

Follow along the path until the end of the broken highway, jump down at the end as the quest marker will point downward until a group ot Tacet Discords can be found.

Defeat all abnormal TDs

Wuthering Waves - Act 8 - Defeat all abnormal TDs

Defeat all Tacet Discords in the quest's set area.

TDs explode upon defeat

Defeat these Tacet Discords with caution; these TDs explode shortly after being defeated, dealing Havoc damage to the player. The explosion can be Perfect Dodged with the right timing.
