The preload for the PC and mobile versions of Wuthering Waves 3.0 will start from December 23, 2025 until the release of Version 3.0 on December 25! Learn how to preload, the preload size, and a handy countdown to preload here!

The preload or predownload for Version 3.0 is now available! Make sure to download ahead of time so you can just jump in and enjoy the new update right after the maintenance!

How to Preload the 3.0 Update
Preload Using the PC Launcher
To preload, open the PC launcher interface and select the "New Version Pre-download" below the "Start" button. While preloading the 3.0 update, you can still go into the game to keep playing!
Preload on Mobile
Should Mobile get a preload update, just tap the "Pre-download button" when prompted on the title screen!
Preload Download Size
Around 36 GB for PC
The preload size for the PC version of the 3.0 update is 36 GB but it is recommended that you have atleast 50 GB on release for the decompression process.
It is also recommended to download the new version of the Launcher when prompted!
18 GB for Mobile Devices
The preload size for mobile phones is 18 GB, but it is recommended to have at least 58 GB of space in your phone as part of the game's decompression process. The game will automatically free up this space once maintenance is done.
