During this event, you can choose between Aero Rover, Galbrena, Ciaccona, and Iuno to begin the Tactical Simulation. Each Resonator serves as your main character for the stage, featuring unique stats and abilities that determine how well they can survive through multiple waves of enemies. You’ll start off with Galbrena, but additional characters will gradually unlock as you complete more stages.
Best Weapon Combinations and Resonators

Each Resonator is equipped with a fixed primary weapon, which can be paired with a secondary weapon. All four primary weapons feature five Forms, including two ultimate Forms that are determined by your secondary weapon choice. While secondary weapons don’t have ultimate Forms, they serve as a source of supplemental firepower to support your primary weapon.
Weapon Forms are unlocked by upgrading your weapon in the post-wave shop as you level up. However, the Forms you receive are random, so planning around synergy is key. Make sure to actively upgrade and experiment with weapon combinations that complement each other to maximize your damage output and survivability as the difficulty ramps up.

Secondary weapons become available starting from Stage 2 onward, allowing you to pair one with your primary weapon to create a more powerful combination. The secondary weapon slot typically unlocks by Wave 3 of a stage, at which point you'll be able to choose which weapon to equip.
Simulations will feature a bullet heaven-style mechanic, requiring players to stay on the move to dodge numerous AoE attacks and keep a safe distance from incoming TDs as they spawn. The objective is to survive within the time limit while clearing all waves of the stage.
Enemy numbers will increase with each wave, so carefully navigate through gaps and openings to avoid being cornered or overwhelmed, allowing your auto-attack and active skill to gradually thin out the enemy forces.
| Item Drop | Effect |
|---|---|
Magnetic |
Automatically collect all Enhancement Modules on the field within range. |
Healing |
Restore 20% of Max HP. |
Rampage |
Greatly increase DMG, Movement Speed, and Attack Speed for 10s. |
Certain stage items may drop after defeating TDs or spawn randomly on the field at specific times. You can pick them up as they appear, gaining instant effects such as collecting Enhancement Modules, restoring health, or temporarily boosting your combat capabilities.

Each stage features an Elite Enemy, identifiable by the unique health bar above their head and their more complex attack patterns compared to regular TDs. These powerful foes will spawn in later waves and require significant effort to defeat, but reward you with a large number of Enhancement Modules upon defeat.
Defeating an Elite Enemy will immediately end the wave, even if there is still remaining time. You can choose to focus your fire on them to finish the wave early, or wait out the timer to complete the wave passively.
Enhancement Modules are silver, coin-shaped currencies dropped by defeated TDs. They must be collected manually by moving through them, unless the Magentic item appears mid-stage, or if you have an Enhancement Module collection item like Speculative Harvest.
Be sure to gather as many Enhancement Modules as possible before a wave ends, as only the ones you've collected can be spent in the post-wave shop.

Defeated enemies will drop Enhancement Modules, a special coin-shaped currency used to purchase Items or Weapon Upgrades after each wave. Each post-wave shop offers a random selection of these options, allowing you to strengthen your setup and increase your survivability for the upcoming waves.
You can also refresh the shop to reroll the available Upgrades or Items, giving you a better chance to obtain buffs that best support your build for the next wave. We recommend prioritizing Weapon and Character Upgrades over buying Items, as they greatly enhance your ability to clear waves more efficiently.
List of Items in Lament Recon: Solaris Soldier

Outside of tactical simulations, you can unlock Tester’s Talents to gain permanent buffs that apply across all stages. Since each stage becomes more difficult as you progress, it’s highly recommended to invest in these enhancements before starting a simulation to stay ahead of the challenge.

Same as Phrolova's event and that defense thing before. Nothing but a waste of time, only for that lame sigil and gems. I'm sure each stage takes half an hour or so. That game is really not as good as I once thought. Hoyo's events are at least fun, but that... 😩🥱
