Update to my comment: the problem was resolved by not attacking bottom left area brutally early on. You can pretty much yoink every single spawn from that spawn area, but to remove invisibility, you'd want some feeder for the Vortex Generator to engage because Tamborinist alone won't engage Vortex Generator.
I was a bit stuck because Flautist was always escaped my setup on every run. Then I remembered that the HP can exceed 20, so I just ignored them and pay the penalty by buying recovery item as soon as KU store was available.
Get KU-store refresh as soon as possible. You'll appreciate more free recovery item that would show up on/after 5th wave.
BTW the Matrix energy can exceed 20 HP
Weapon setup
Strategy that beat 99 in short: Weapon setup KU-Speed Shooter Ku-Repulsion Field Freeze Jet module I freeze Shock Inductor Repulsor Spout m II medium TD Junrock m II range Stun Emitter m I paralysis Vortex Generator m I invisibility removal In general, build economy first. Get Silver bullet tactics asap (Lean Mode!) with focus on freeze and ceiling/fr eeze dmg-->later paralyze. Every wave remove weapons, deploy only where needed. USE KU-RF! i reached wave 45 but i have no clue how it is even possible to not let some boss monsters pass, I stopped getting upgrades as well, (as in i got them all) and still even after removing the invisibility passive, bosses have too much hp and defense.
did anyone reach 99 wave?
