How to Unlock When the Night Knocks
Unlocks Automatically in Your Quest Log
The Main Quest When the Night Knocks will automatically appear in your quest list upon logging in on November 14, 2024 onwards. This will serve as the overarching story to support the Somnium Labyrinth event.

Investigate in Whining Aix's Mire
Head to the nearest Resonance Beacon in Whining Aix's Mire and eavesdrop on a conversation between an exile and a suspicious man. Afterward, follow the exile who seems to be complaining about a missing package to Lumi.
Investigate the Depths of Waving Battlefield
After agreeing to help Lumi find the package, make your way toward Waving Battlefield and eliminate all the TDs that spawn by the Somnoire Gateway.
Optional: Ask Dockworkers for More Information
You may also ask other dockworkers for any information regarding the strange occurances before heading to Waving Battlefield. There are a total of three around the area, all wearing orange reflective vests.
Step Into the Strange Gateway
Speak with the Strange White Cat and step through the gateway inside the train car. Continue onwards and defeat any enemies in your path as Rover chases after Lumi. The event's objectives will become accessible after completing Lumi's Dreamscape Odyssey: Against All Odds.

All six Dreamscape Odysseys can be initiated by talking to the Strange White Cat inside the train car and stepping into the Somnoire. Each of these dreamscapes will allow you to assume the role of its assigned character, and overcome challenges with the Rover's help.
Defeat the Ebony Gatekeeper
After Camellya's Dreamscape Odyssey concludes, the White Cat regains its energy to challenge the Ebony Gatekeeper. Inside the Somnoire, you must face a gauntlet of four bosses: Fallacy of No Return, Scar: Aberrant Nightmare, and the final duo, Crownless and Dreamless.
Initiate Dream Links With Allies
To make fights easier, activate Dream Link once the guage is full, by casting the Rover's Resonance Liberation alongside your supporting allies. This will significantly reduce the cooldown of your skills and allow you to perform devastating damage on the enemy consecutively.
Dodge the Red Lasers
In between boss fights, red eyes will appear on the battlefield and target the Rover with lasers. Dodge through all of them until they cease, and the next boss enters the stage.
Bid Your Allies Farewell
After subduing the Ebony Gatekeeper, you may take a moment to speak with all the allies you have rescued from the Somnoire to reflect on your shared journey. Once you have finished these interactions, talk to the Strange White Cat to officially bring this chapter of the adventure to a close.
