For the first stage of Tactical Simulacra: Off-Tune, you only need to defeat a Tempest Mephis in a battle.

|
• At the start of the challenge, Resonance Energy is recovered by 100%, and the enemy's All-Attribute RES is reduced to 0. • Resonators' certain attacks can disrupt the enemy's Tunability and accumulate Off-Tune Level. The enemy enters Mistune once their Off-Tune Level is full. Resonators can transform into Kerasaur during this time to attack the enemy, resetting their Off-Tune Level on hit. • The enemy enters Mistune immediately when some of their attacks are countered or successfully Dodged. During this time, Resonators can perform Tune Break to attack the enemy without resetting their Off-Tune Level. |

| Best Technique Buffs | |
| Cacophony Disruption Resonators in the team gain 50% Off-Tune Level Efficiency increase. |
Trauma Disruption Within 30s after triggering Tune Break, Resonators in the team gain 50% DMG Amplification. |
For the buffs, we opted to take Cacophony Disruption and Trauma Disruption to facilitate a quicker Off-Tune buildup and in consequence, a general 50% DMG Amplification after rendering the enemy Tune Broken. This combo enables you to trigger Tune Break periodically for a 100% uptime of Trauma Disruption.
Note that if you are using a Cartethyia team, avoid using Strike Disruption as she does not benefit from any ATK stat increase.

For the first stage of Tactical Simulacra IV: Off-Tune, we recommend using the trial characters that ultimately becomes Cartethyia's Aero Erosion team. The team is completely capable of getting maximum points for the rewards, so you don't have to bring out any other Resonators. Still, if you'd like to use your own Resonators, feel free to do so.

For this stage, you will only need to defeat a Crownless.

Storm Disruption Triggering Tune Break creates a thunderstorm that deals 6000% Electro DMG to enemies. |
For the buffs, we opted to take Cacophony Disruption and Storm Disruption to facilitate a quicker Off-Tune buildup and in consequence, a more frequent trigger for Storm Disruption. The 6000% Electro DMG is no joke, and can quickly dispatch the Crownless.

The team is completely capable of getting maximum points for the rewards, so you don't have to bring out any other Resonators. Still, if you'd like to use your own Resonators, feel free to do so.
The Crownless will attack as soon as you start the battle, so evade immediately. This opens him up to a Tune Break, which is easily a huge chunk of its health gone.
The Crownless will also do a red aerial attack for a free Tune Break prompt. This is also an extra trigger for Storm Disruption.

When the enemy has built up enough Off-Tune levels, do not forget to press the button to summon the Kerasaur and trigger Tune Break. The prompt will show up automatically - just don't forget to press it.

This stage is a two-stage fight, as you will have to defeat a Lampylumen Myriad first before the final Impermanence Heron boss.

Strike Disruption Within 30s after triggering Tune Break, Resonators in the team gain 80% ATK increase. |
For the buffs, we opted to take Transmissin Disruption and Strike Disruption to heavily buff all the damage that Zani dishes out. Note that Zani deals Spectro Frazzle DMG so Spectro Frazzle tick damage alone does not do much. It is much better to buff Zani's performance since she's the main driver of the team.

The effects of the buffs here will only take effect 30s after Tune Breaking, so make sure you don't miss the prompt.

| Blackhole Disruption Within 30s after triggering Tune Break, generate a black hole that deals 400% Havoc DMG in total to the target when Resonators in the team inflict Havoc Bane. |
Vortex Disruption Within 30s after triggering Tune Break, generate a vortex that deals 750% Aero DMG in total to the target for every 3 stacks of Aero Erosion inflicted by Resonators in the team. |
For the buffs, we opted to take Blackhole Disruption and Vortex Disruption to ensure a stable source of additional damage when the character is tune broken. Since the trial characters are all Negative Status effect applicators, these two will definitely work really well.

Even if there is an option to use the Aero Rover, we highly suggest that you slot in Chisa in the third slot. Inflicting Havoc Bane increases Off-Tune level accumulation, so you can more easily trigger Mistune. If you don't have Chisa, the trial character will suffice.

You must defeat Sentry Construct and Feilian Beringal in Stage 5 to complete it, making it a two-wave fight.

| Echo Disruption Within 30s after triggering Tune Break, Resonators in the team gain 200% Echo Skill DMG Bonus. |
Symphonic Disruption Within 30s after triggering Tune Break, increase the ATK of Resonators in the team by 20% when they cast an Echo Skill, stacking up to 5 times. Echoes of the same name can only trigger this effect once. Upon reaching 5 stacks, the Resonator's attacks ignore 50% of the target's DEF. Triggering Tune Break resets this effect. |
The Echo Disruption and Symphonic Disruption buffs are a definite must-go if you are using the Trial Team for this stage! The two provide huge Echo Skill damage buffs, which helps, as it synergizes with the stage's special enhancement on top of being one of Phrolova's main sources of damage.
If you are using Resonators that don't have Echo Skill DMG buffs, it's best to use Critical Disruption and Trauma Disruption instead.

| The stage can be cleared with Trial characters only. If you have a stronger team, you can use that too. | ||
When doing the fifth stage of Tactical Simulacra IV: Off-Tune, we recommend using the trial characters that form the two premier Echo Skill teams in the game. These teams are completely capable of getting maximum points for the rewards, so you don't have to bring out any other Resonators. This is thanks to their synergy and being able to deal the highest Echo Skill DMG as possible!
There is also the option of using your own Resonators for this challenge if the current Trial Team doesn't feel comfortable for you in combat.

You must defeat Fallacy of No Return, a Thundering Mephis, and Fleurdelys in Stage 6 to complete it, making it a two-wave fight.

| Surge Disruption Within 30s after triggering Tune Break, generate a bolt of lightning that deals 100% Electro DMG to the target when Resonators in the team deal damage. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s. |
Ascending Disruption Upgrade Tune Break and increase the Tune Break DMG. |
For this stage, we opted to go with Surge Disruption since our main driver for the team is Augusta, which should have a lot of Electro DMG. It is also way easier to trigger this effect, more than the buffs that require a shield.
In addition, the trial team will be able to reliably trigger the Special Bonus of the stage which would result to more frequent Tune Breaks so Ascending Disruption will be triggered more frequently as well.

When doing the fifth stage of Tactical Simulacra IV: Off-Tune, we recommend using the trial characters that form the premier Electro Heavy attack team of Augusta. This team will deal an insane amount of damage, so you will be able to clear this stage no matter how formidable the enemies are.
Tactical Simulacra IV: Off-Tune introduces the mechanic of Off-Tune, Mistune, and Tune Break. The buffs present in the event revolves around the concept, so make sure to learn about it!
What is Tunability and the Off-Tune Mechanic?
| Tactical Simulacra Mechanics | |
|---|---|
| Ver. 1.4 and Ver. 2.1 | • More emphasis on maintaining combat Rank and using specific buffs to maintain said combat Rank. • Two types of buffs for the 1.4 and 2.1 mechanics: Forte Enhancement and Technique Buff. |
| Ver. 1.1 | • Choose stage buffs that will help your team the most! |
For this run of Tactical Simulacra, enemies will build up Off-Tune from character attacks. This is denoted by the shield icon to the left of the enemy's health bar.
When full, the enemy will enter the Mistune state which will enable you to enter the prompt and trigger Tune Break. Enemies under Tune Break opens them up to follow-up attacks that will help you defeat the enemy faster.
| Button Prompts | ||

Trigger Tune Break using the buttons noted above. The prompt will show up automatically on your screen, so you won't be able to miss it.
During the fight, some enemies will use red, flashing special attacks that is easy to telegraph. Dodging or Countering these attacks will trigger Tune Break to leave them vulnerable to follow-up attacks.
What more, triggering Tune Break this way does not reset the Off-Tune meter, so you can still accumulate Off-Tune levels and trigger Tune Break normally.
| Boss Defeat | Bosses defeated provide an unconditional 1000 points. Multi-boss stages will provide an additional 1000 pts. per boss. |
|---|---|
| Time Points | Remaining time (in seconds) is multiplied by a seemingly arbitraty multiplier depending on the stage. In short, the faster you clear the stage nets you a higher the score. |
| Technical Points | Rating for how good you are with parries, counterattacks, and dodges with a ceiling of 100. Fighting additional bosses increases the ceiling by 100 per boss. |
The score for Tactical Simulacra: Off-Tune is computed by considering three things: the monster being defeated, the remaining time, and your performance in battle. Make sure to perform well to get the highest score possible!
Afterwards, you could build your team based on the buffs you choose. Be sure to know the stage's suggested attribute to know if this aligns with your team.
Once you are ready, defeat enemies as fast as possible. Do this by defeating enemeis while avoiding attacks as much as possible.
You need to reach Union Level 14 as a prerequisite in order to unlock the event. You can complete main story quests and side quests in order to raise your Union Level quickly.
